3nodding Ok, lately I've been having wedding on my mind. And what brought me to my Blah Blah Blog today is Wedding Rings. I know so many people who are married but now wearing a ring to show it. Even when I watch TV I see alot of TV Anchors, Actors, Actresses, TV Hosts that talk about their wife/husband but got no ring on their fingers. For example Jay Leno always talks about me and my old Lady love going on road trips on our Harley Bikes and just cruising the country sides. What old lady ? You have no wedding ring so are you or are you not married ? David Letterman who I know has a wife who's like 20-30 yrs younger from my last knowledge but again doesn't sport a wedding ring. My BF talk about how there's alot of Nurses and Doctors who are married but dont wear a ring. Are they hiding the fact that they're married ? Is it just not cool to permanently wear a ring that was given you to at your wedding vows ? Wedding ring isn't just some jewelry you can decided not to wear it today or not. Wedding ring is a vow you made to your husband/wife and should always be placed on your finger. I'd be furious if my husband wasn't wearing our wedding ring on his finger. But then again my BF says wedding rings are such a bother cuz when your doing dishes or something you remove the ring then put it back when your done, etc ... Etc ... ETC !! I say BULLSH*T !! I'd keep my wedding ring on even while doing dishes or whatever. Unless your husband/wife is a cheap a** and got you some fake ring soap water isn't gonna ruin it. It'll actually clean it a bit. I'm just curious as to why so many married people dont wanna wear their rings. I wear my Dad's wedding ring cuz it was given to my by my Mom as a memorial keepsakes of my Dad. I'm gonna wear this forever til I die then possibly POSSIBLY pass it on to my daughter. But honestly why wont people sport their wedding rings ?? Anyone got a answer for that ?
