You call me on the phone just like every other day,
There’s something new in the way you say,
I love you;
And there’s something new in the way I say,
I love you too.
I need to feel it like the sheets in your bed,
I need to feel it cause I feel like I’m almost dead;
I need to taste it like your lips, oh so near;
I need to smell it like your cologne (catch my tears).
Something new going on in our relationship,
Something else trying to drown this sinking ship;
It was you who stole my heart (it’s a theft),
It’s something, not an accomplishment.
They’ve become just three little words,
A phrase without meaning (oh it hurts);
When I can’t see you,
The tears begin to fall.
Don’t just tell me;
Help me feel it like the sand in our toes,
I need to feel it like the wall separating our souls;
I need to taste it like the freedom come so near,
I need to smell it like the rain mixed with my tears…
I need to feel it like the sheets in your bed,
I need to feel it cause I feel like I’m almost dead;
I need to taste it like your lips, oh so near;
I need to smell it like your cologne (catch my tears).
I need to feel it…
It’s taking down this sinking ship…
Oh it hurts.

Hannah Horror's poems.
Pretty much mostly poetry that I write when I'm bored.
