On Sunday, I was backpacking with my scout troop for 2 days and one night. Apparently, I was so excited for the trip, I forgot what happened last time I went backpacking...also the weather was scorching hot. Pros and Cons:

Pros:
*Fresh Air
*Socializing with Friends
*The amazing Scenery
*Peace and serenity (If you count scary stories, annoying scout members, and dust in your eyes peaceful and serene...)
*And the quiet Night Hike

Cons:
*The Scorching Weather
*The Tedious Hike (Although Backpacking wouldn't be backpacking without the hike)
*The ticks, spiders, and occasional rattlesnake
*Blisters on your feet
*And the backpack that supposedly weighs about half your body weight ((If packed correctly, it should weigh less than that. The maximum is half your body weight)

Still the entire trip was fun. At night we could see the entire night light of Palo Alto and the bay bridge. We had our laughs and our tears, e.g. The Patrol Wars.

The Patrol Wars
The war against the scorpion Patrol and the Panther Patrol ((My Patrol! Go Panthers!!!)) You wouldn't believe what we went through for this. I don't even know how it started out, but it was hilarious as hell. Apparently we had Walking Stick Fencing, contests, and last but not least, the night time Practical Jokes. We Tee-peed the Scorpion's tents and poured water all over it, while they were doing the same to ours...thats what would've happened at least. The reason why we didn't do it was because it would be a pain to clean it up afterwards.

Well that was my trip. Now I have to figure out the next part of endless Nights.
