WWE Pay per view Night of Champions took place June 29, 2008 in Dallas, Texas.
The main match of the event was the WWE Championship match between Triple H and John Cena. Triple H won after a pedigree to Cena thus the WWE Championship is now on Smackdown.
The next main match was the match between Edge and Batista for the World Heavyweight Title. Edge won after he hit Batista with the title belt. The belt stays on Smackdown
Another significant match was a Triple Threat Match for the ECW title between Kane, Mark Henry, and Big Show. Henry won after a Splash on Kane thus the ECW title returns to its home on ECW.
Next the Match between Morrison and MIz vs Finlay and Hornswoggle. The WWE Tag Team Titles were defended successfully when Morrison threw Hornswoggle off the turnbuckle and pinned him.
The next match was for the World Tag Team Titles. Where Cody Rhodes betrayed Hardcore Holly and teamed up with Ted DiBiase to win the titles.
The next match was for the United States Championship. Matt Hardy defeated Chavo Guerrero to retain.
The next match was for the Intercontinental Championship. Jericho thought he would face Shawn Michaels but he ended up facing and being defeated by Kofi Kingston. Congrates Kofi for your first Title.
The Last match was for the Women's Championship. Mickie James vs Katie Lea Burchill. Mickie got the better of Burchill and won. Yay Mickie.
There was a Dark Match that took place before Night Of Champions. It was Jeff Hardy vs Montel Vomtavious Porter. Hardy won after a Swanton Bomb.
