Orientation was kind of dull, but not altogether bad. At least there was some variety. Unlike day two. Day two consisted almost entirely of what they call CBL: Computer-Based Learning. This means that I sat in front of a computer all day with the exception of my work breaks. And the forty-five minutes or so I spent stocking bananas and strawberries. Oh, and I got to leave 15 minutes early. But that still totals to about 7 hours in front of the comp yesterday. Not even doing fun stuff. It was just a 7-hour-long power point, full of dull safety instructions, company policies, and how not to commit sexual harassment.
Today I actually worked. My feet are killing me, but it was good. Almost fun. And the people are nice. I think I'm going to be just fine working here.
