Mah Jernul :3 <3
The voices told me to.
Part 1.
Dark Groaned as she dipped her head under the bathtub faucet again, water rushing through her hair, turning the bottom of the tub a strange shade of orange. She closed her eyes and held her breath, quickly massaging the water through her hair.

When the water ran through clear again she shut it off and put a towel around her shoulders, quickly brushing through the brown mass on her head.

"Whatcha up to?" Eon leaned, arms crossed, against the doorway. Dark continued to brush.

"Dying my hair blonde." She mumbled absently, frustrated with one knot on the back of her head.

"I thought we could do something today. I really liked it the way it was." He added after a long pause. "Well good thing It's my hair not yours. Maybe you should go blonde." She glanced in his direction to stare at his brown hair- shining in the sunlight getting in from the window above.

"Hmm. Or not." She muttered and turned back to the mirror, getting the rest of her knots out easily.

"So I was thinking we could do something..." He persisted with his earlier topic, and then asked why she dyed her hair. He seemed hesitant to really ask, she noticed, walking out of the bathroom, towel draped around her shoulders.

"C'mon Dark, I just mopped the floor!" Thorn whined as she dashed through the livingroom into the kitchen.

"Oh, shush."

"Why blonde?"

"Huh?"

Thorn turned around on the couch to look up at her. "Why'd you dye it blonde?"

She just shrugged. "I think I've tried every shade of purple, so I'm onto blonde... again." Thorn shook his head and turned back to the TV. The news was on.

"What's going on there?" She opened the fridge, listening intently as the camera man screamed, dropping the camera and running. She grabbed the milk jug out and put the mouth up to her lips. It was gone in an instant as Mimim stood there with a cup and the jug.

"You should know better." He smiled. Like a little boy, Dark thought as she stared quietly at him, taking the jug and the cup. She poured herself a glass and put the milk away, jumping onto the couch beside Thorn.

"Some sort of massacre." Thorn whispered, leaning forward towards the TV. Dark could see Eon walking up the stairs out of the corner of her eye.

"You guys should go check that out." She said once Eon was gone. "Maybe it's a demon?"

Thorn thought about it for a moment, staring at Dark. He spoke after a long pause. "Sure, c'mon Mimim. I might need your help.. Dark you coming?" He stood and stared, again, at her. She slowly shook her head, staring, frightened, at the TV.

The screen was covered in blood, surprisingly not destroyed yet. It was at a school, children screaming left and right, running, one after another being slashed pen by some unvisible being. Is that why she doesn't go to school? Thorn shook his head and walked out the door.

"Hey, Dark." Mimim stared at her like Thorn had. Dark looked up to stare back. They stayed like that, unmoving for a minute.

"Nothing?"

"Nothin'."

He smiled, skipping cheerfully out of the house. Dark shook her head and rose silently, suddenly at Eon's bedroom door. She tapped quietly. "You there?" She asked. The house was eerily quite. "Eon?" She tried again, turning the doorknob and walking into the room.

Eon was asleep on his bed. Dark stared, frozen, a blush creeping up her neck. His eye lids fluttered, opening wide as he stared at the girl standing at the foot of his bed. "I was just seeing if you were awake." She slammed the dor quickly and walked at a normal pace down the stairs, across the livingroom, and to the couch.

That was akward as ********] Se thought, able to still feel the blush on her cheeks. Damnit, Yumi said I couldn't do that! She thought angrily, rubbing the bck of her neck. Eon came down, flustered, with no shirt on. "I... Dark I didn't...What were you doing!?" He stuttered, fumbling to button his pants as he quickly stepped down the stairs.

"I was seeing if you were awake. I'm kinda glad you weren't. That would have been worse." She admitted without difficulty, not looking at him. The TV was off, but she didn't know how to turn it on. She stared at the black screen. She could see Eon standing behind her, trying to keep his mind on nothing in particular.
