For the years that I knew him he was retired. Though he didn't like it after awhile lol. He did stay busy though. He always bowled until his back kept him from picking up the ball. He loved to cook out with the family when I was little. We would always go to the creek that was behind his house to look for crawdads. we almost never found any, but it was still a lot of fun and one thing we could count on was the crazy old lady accross the creek who thought she owned the world. I remember there was a time she threatened to call the cops on us and grampa called her "a wrinkly old b***h!!". That was funny because he almost never cursed like that lol.
An other one of his passions was in the fur trade. In his basement he used to breed chinchilla ( for those who don't know a chinchilla looks like a fat squarill with a short tail and bounced like a rabbit). People from all over the wourld ordered fur from his herd (that what he called them don't if that's what you call a group of chinchillas).
So now he is gone from this world. Forever lost in the mystery that is death. He will be missed dearly, I know I will miss him for years to come.
