Today I checked out my school again, the school that I will be attending starting September. I can't wait 'til I move in! biggrin I'm sooo excited!
I get to meet new friends and party and live the college life! Lol, kidding, no partying for me. ^^; XD
Anyways, I got there and there was a bunch of seminars which were like an hour long each. When we got to the computer lab to learn how to register for our courses, a girl sat next to me and I started talking to her and we became friends. biggrin
Maria is my new friend!
I noticed that she was interested in studying philosophy and biology.
When they went through the "how to select a course" lecture, I started thinking that maybe nursing isn't for me. Maybe I could do something else. So I will look into what programs I may study. I guess I'll minor in math since I really enjoy that!
At lunch time, I sat with Maria and her family and we talked for a bit. It was nice!
Then we ordered a book that we have to read over the summer, and a t-shirt that belongs to our college campus.
She's going to be on Champlain campus, and I'm still on the waiting list. XP
I hope I get a room soon! I won't know for sure until the beginning of August. It would be nice to be in the same campus as her, but if not, then I'd like to be in the Gzowski college [the lazy campus sweatdrop ].
I can't wait 'til September starts! biggrin
I still have to pick out my courses though. ^^;
I'll do that soon.
