If anyone wonders why tons of people think the WNBA is a joke, here's why! A fight between Detroit and LA during a game has finally gotten the suspensions back. Pierson got a 4 game suspension while Candice Parker, Ms. I'm-So-Perfect-Because-I'm-Candice-Parker, got only ONE game suspension, when both Pierson and Parker were the instigators. Nine other players also got at least a one game suspensions for becoming involved. Now I don't know about the rest of you, but it seems to me that Parker is getting special treatment! Both Parker and Pierson were going back and forth in that game, and yet only ONE person really gets blamed for it. Sure, Pierson trash talks people, pushes people's buttons, but she does it for the simple fact that it takes your concentration OFF the game and onto her. Parker didn't HAVE to rise up and do something about it, yet she did. SHE pulled Pierson down. I think Pierson and Parker should get the same suspension. Personally, they should both get at LEAST a five game suspension.
People seriously wonder why the WNBA isn't taken seriously, well there's your answer! Whoever deals out suspensions should be fired and an objective person should replace them! Just because you're Candice Parker doesn't mean you can get away with starting a fight! But then again, that's what the WNBA is based on. If you're a big name, you can do whatever the hell you want and no one will stop you! It's not even this bad in the NBA!
