To Everyone:
I just want to say thank you to all of my friends here. For everything you've done for me. You may not realize it, but everyone that I have grown close to here, has had probably the biggest impact on my life. I remember when I first came to the AL I was curious. I wasn't sure what to think of myself at that point in time. I was still somewhat in self denial about who I really was. I was constantly depressed, there was no getting me out of it. I didn't understand why, and I felt accepted here. When my sister threatened to out me last November, I was scared...had I not had the friends and support here I wouldn't have had the guts to come out to my mom, even with the threat. It was hard, and my relationship with my family was INCREDIBLY strained. I felt horrible, but you guys here made me feel so much better about myself with all of the encourgements you gave me, wether you realized you were doing it or not. If I had never come here and met all of you, honestly, I believe I would still be utterly miserable and still living the lie I had for several years. When I fell for Cally, you all supported me, when things turned out...unexpectedly, you held me together. Despite all the drama you stuck with me and I couldn't be more greatful and this 'thank you' is LONG overdue. It seems that we've struggled through so much in such a hard time. Comforting and helping eachother. I would try to list the names, but the truth is I don't want to worry about leaving someone out, because you have all been here for me. Thank you all for everything. You're all amazing, and I hope someday I can find a way to repay the kindness you have all shown me, but until then, I hope we can enjoy the time we have together. Thank you all so much.
