There once was a woman
Strong but mild
Gave birth to a wonderful
And Beautiful child
But they took it away
Despite her cries
Sacrificed him to gods
To better their lives
Torn with vengeance
Sorrow and shame
She killed all those
who were to blame
Then over the altar
Where he had died
She picked up her blade
oh how she cried
A knife through her heart
Her bright eyes grew dim
Gave her life
to retribute sin
Her only heart
For those who did wrong
Nothing to live for
Where to belong?
Forgiveness in death
She did beleive
The final act
Bodies to grieve
And now she lays
In heaven above
With her angelic child
But Unable to love
