More of the story of Ranoras, Spiritual Gaurdian...
Bryce stared absent mindedly up at the demon who not minutes ago had possessed him.
Realizing why Bryce was staring Ranoras gave a bow of gratitude for the favor Bryce would never know of and was off into the forest disappearing from sight.
Bryce woke up and squinting turned to his side to see that the alarm clock had already gone off. He jumped out of bed and ran out of his room pulling on some pants. Still he wasn't fast enough to catch the bus and had to run like usual. As he was running past the Allen Woods he saw Ranoras. He froze thinking it was an illusion and that he couldn't be in this world. While thinking this a demon was coming for Bryce and Ranoras sensed it. A strange heat as though he was on fire spread from his heart to his fingertips. He jumped at the demon as it dived for Bryce's head. Ranoras kicked the demon down and said, "Veros Sayori!" The demon began to burn and gradually faded. Ranoras kneeled down and dissapeared yet again from sight. Bryce stood there shivering at what just happened. Slowly he turned towards the school and seeing nothing in sight sprinted the rest of the way that morning.
At school in math he thought that all the insanity was done for the day, but the second he gazed out his math window he saw Ranoras fighting another demon. Nearly falling out of his chair he yelped. The class turned to him and then seeing nothing he was overlooked as just sleepy. When Ranoras finished off the last of the demons around the school he wiped his brow. Why had he become Bryce's gaurdian? Ranoras shook his head thinking that every time he made some one a promise it went against his favor. How could so many demons want to kill one boy? Ranoras stood on the roof ranting to himself when such an enormous energy emerged that he could barely stand because of it. He looked around and found the source. It was Rashika! He was still coming to the human world to collect souls and Ranoras could already geuss who was on his list. He hopped down to confront this massive challenge.
Rashika looked up as the fox spirit descended from the roof. He laughed as Ranoras laughed and charged at him. Rashika reached his palm out towards Ranoras and from it flames erupted covering the spirit. Ranoras came out the falmes wincing and scorched. "I won't let you!" screamed Ranoras. Rashika looked at him surprised. He looked past Ranoras and scoffed, "You found a treasure in this world to protect? I will take his soul just like the others." Ranoras shook his head.
A swift breeze went by rustling Ranoras' hair. He looked up and was ready to fight. He looked around and Rashika was already gone. Ranoras kicked the dirt and tried to calm himself down. A bell rang from inside the school. He turned in time to hear, "Why are you following me you freak?" as he was plowed through by Bryce who was running to get to the bus. Ranoras looked around to see one of Bryce's friends staring at him. It was Kelly. Kelly shook his head and went off after his friend. Ranoras sighed and faded back to Setra for a good rest.
