* Apparently, according to a right wing pundit, the Ohio state flag (adopted 1902) is proof that Obama is planing to be a "potentate." The "O" on the flag is for Ohio. No one had heard of Obama 106 years ago when it was adopted. I suppose time travel could be involved, but being a member of "the reality based community" I strongly suspect not.

Although now that I think of it, a time traveling Obama Presidency could be a cool; a Palin one, not so much.

* Macmoyer has a lot to say about the Mccain/Quinnell "Obama is an Arab" exchange. Many of these are things I've been thinking, but the horrors that keep unfolding have been wearing me out. *Oh hey, Joe the Plumber isn't a licensed plumber, isn't even close to buying a business, and owes a lot of back taxes. according to Mccain, Obama has ruined his life buy destroying his privacy. This even though McCain brought him up in the first place including referring to him repeatedly in debate and McCain asked his followers to email Joe. none of that was invasive at all, right?
