Lonely Ones - Redone

He was that lonely guy,
Who always wondered why?
Fate was so cruel.
He was always the fool.
So he tried to escape the pain,
And booked the first train.
Going anywhere but home.

She was that pretty girl,
Who always hid from the world.
She viewed herself as out of place.
Wore her hair to cover her face.
And just who knew?
That her dream would come true.
On that train heading anywhere but home.

Emotions play a vital role,
In which price it pays for toll,
For these two to find one another.
They could be the cure for each other.
Such feelings in time,
Will turn out divine.
On that train heading anywhere but home.

His eyes never left the glass,
Even when that hidden girl passed.
She took a seat,
He drummed with the beat.
Both of them knew,
That when the whistle blew.
That train was heading anywhere but home.

His music blared,
And she got scared.
He was playing her song,
It sounded all night long.
They were meant to be,
If only they could see.
That the train was heading anywhere but home.

She managed to say,
What song did he play?
And that was the queue,
For it was just those two.
And they went with the beat,
And they shifted seats.
On that train that was heading anywhere but home.

Fate was once their enemy,
But they didn't know what could be.
They had the same goal in mind,
As their lives became intertwined.
That's when they opened their eyes,
And looked towards the skies.
The train was taking them anywhere but home.

He's no longer that lonely man,
She's always doing the best that she can.
He had found his place,
And she no longer hid her face.
For how did they know,
That when the train started to go.
It was taking them anywhere but home.

It was the end of the line,
They wondered what happened to time?
Then they opened their eyes,
And looked towards the skies.
It took a moment or two,
But right away they knew...
The train had took them home,
To a place unknown.

Together they wait,
To see what the future creates.
The entwined two,
Don't know what to do.
But all they know,
Is that their love will grow.
Thanks to that train that took them into the unknown.
A place away from home that they could call their own.
