Haul: Less than expected
Group: Strangers practically. I only knew Windy, and even still we aren't like BFF's or anything. I don't even know her birthday. o.O

Late start due to costume mal-functions. Back-tracked to retrieve a headband. Half the pace of my usual walking speed. I guess I shouldn't complain much since it wasn't as if walking alone was an option. I would have had to stop at 6 or 6:30 if I were alone. It gets too dark to be outside alone.
I had fun though. Despite all this, I had fun. It may not have shone on my face but on the inside I was smiling. I heard them chatter about Haruhi and Death Note and random things from the 'net. They compared me/my costume to something from the web. I felt so very privileged to be among all that energy and carefree youth! Next year, will be my last year as the main trick-or-treater. I will have to wait to go again until my sister has children that I can take along for the magical door-to-door candy getting. I'm a little sad, but I know that someday I will get to pass on the joy to someone else.Halloween is still a day that depresses me a little. This day could have been mine if I had only found a way to persevere. I still talk to him. He still finds ways to make me smile like no one else can. He still protects me in my dream and nightmares. In reality, I know that it would be so hard to try and mend things or even start anew, I can't forget the things we've said to each other, or the horrible things we've put each other through. The lies I've told him will never be separated from the truth. I want him to know me as I am now, but I can't just wipe his memory clean of the me I used to be. *sigh* I am thankful that I've still got him around even if he is over a thousand miles away.
