Just this and that.
Finally Read Twilight...
Okay. so i finally borrowed and read Twilight.
I had to see what all the fuss was over. I see people's signatures full of Edward Cullen references, Twilight viewing tickets and soundtracks on the Hot Topic website, and even the damn tee shirts everywhere. *rolls eyes*

So, i finally read it last night, cover to cover. And just as i thought, it's another teenage aimed vampire novel. i did enjoy the story though. Sparkly vampires that growl like cats and look like gorgeous red-headed super models?
I'm in. XD

lol. So, now i move on to the sequel, New Moon. Once i start a series i have to finish it, and let's face it, it doesn't take much effort for me to do it when there are only four books in the series and they only average, what, 400 pages... not much effort at all. i'll be mailing them back by tomorrow. lol.

I think that my one complaint was the villain in the first book. He wasn't really there, if you know what i mean. Sure, he lured her into his trap in a convincingly enough manner, considering the naive heroine, but he didn't make much of an appearance and they didn't go into much detail about him at all. And the scene that immediately followed didn't do much for me either. Meh, whatever gets the book published, right?

Anyway- that's it for now really. Had to make a quick trip to Penn. this weekend, and i'm pretty exhausted, so a nice semi-decently lengthed book couldn't hurt right now. I just wish i have more reading material than this. If it weren't for the sad state that the local library was in, i just might deign to borrow a few books from them. Maybe i'll hit DC sometime and look at the national library. Every book imaginable? My kind of heaven...
Toodles.
