She sat in the corner alone
Wishing that her love was there
She stared desperately at the phone
Would anyone even care
She was startled by the knock
Who could be at her door
She looked up at the clock
And got up off the floor
The knob turned
She stood still
Her heart burned
Biting her lip she lost her will
The tears fell like rain
And the arms held her close
On cheeks the tears stain
Then her heart suddenly froze
Staring down at her were those eyes
The eyes of the only one
Everything stoped the sobs the cries
Her moon overshadowed by her only sun
