Lost

Oh what shall I do, now that I can't be with you? My heart has stopped beating, this warning I've been heeding.
I knew this day would come.
The emotions in me, are coming undone.
I don't know how I'll ever move on, now that you, my love, are gone.
You left me so swift, and in emptiness, I drift.
I am lost without you here.
You're coming of death, was the thing I most feared.
As for now, I mourn and cry.
Shriveled up into a ball, I would just rather die.
I look back in time, and witness the memories that will forever be mine.
I know that one day, I'll be with you again.
Love without ceasing, for there is never really an end.
For now, I'm recovering, sorrowful and shuddering, for your death killed me inside.
