I'm bored at the library right now, and I have 2 hours until I have to go to pep band...
SOOOO....
I got insulted today! By the guy I have a crush on! Yay me! *extreme sacasam on that last part*
In science class we were doing something or another about evolution and Darwin; and the guy next to me, Jonathan, keeps making these annoyed faces. So when we were done, I asked him "Just guessing by those looks and mouthed words to your paper, you don't really like this stuff, do you?"
"It's not my favorite thing, to put it lightly..." A little time went by, and I asked again,
"So WHY do you think this stuff is a load of bull?"
"Because none of the evidence proved right, so scientists just twisted the evidence to make it fit before cramming it into text books and down our throats." The bell rang, and as we were walking out, I told him, "Thanks." He looked at me confused and asked "For what?"
"I'm Darwinian." He gave me this look and shrugged his shoulders as he walked out.
I'm not really mad at him. He's pretty different from me on a lot of standards: He's sexist, anti-darwinism, has an ego the size of the sun, and doesn't even look good! Why the hell do I like this kid anyway?
