I'm announcing a seven post rule.

It protects anyone making conversation or legitimate guesses at the current riddle.

It does not protect people who post spam riddles, people who make guesses at previous riddles, bumpers, phishers, trolls, griefers, beggars or spammers."

Someone has to post seven times in the thread, preferably within four days to a week, before they can be ragged on for not reading the first post unless it's to

A) spam a riddle or
B) make dud guesses at the first riddle.

These are considered spam and riddlers can either direct the spammer to the first post and the current riddle or eat the spammer as they see fit. Be warned that some who have been pounced upon and eaten have returned later to cause trouble so exercise caution.

People wandering in to say 'Hi' occasionally are not elligible to be yelled at unless they post more than seven times in four days in which case they will be upgraded from 'just visiting' to 'hanging around' and will be NUDGED BUT NOT HURLED in the direction of the First Post and the Handy Guide.

Anyone wandering in to bump, troll, phish, beg for gold, spam, grief or post emotes is not protected by this post.
Returning really-oldbies are exempt.
