I'm so glad I'm not one of those girls who have to have a man in their lives!! I can't stand girls like that!! It's so ridiculous and they are always so desperate. My roommate's like that and apparently a guy that she likes turned her down after she tried to hook up with him. She was crying and all sad because she had never been turned down before. Here are my thoughts on this: first, she claims that she wants to be friends with this guy but she tried to hook up with him. Where is the sense in that unless your planning on being friends with benefits. Second, a girl should never initiate any kind of romantic interest, be it sexual or non sexual (ex. a girl should not ask a guy out on a date). This just makes them seem desperate (why can't they see that), as most of them are anyway. Also, if this is the guy that she cooked that elaborate dinner for, then that is yet another instance of her seeming desperate and trying to hard. Third, more than likely the only reason any other guy never turned her down before is because they saw that she was easy and they just wanted sex really bad and didn't have to work for it. Fourth, she's really not all that pretty and packing on a lot of make-up and perfume doesn't help. She's also really skinny and has absolutely no curves (although some guys like that I'm sure, just in my opinion, if I were a guy I wouldn't). Also, she said (not to me, I just over heard this conversation) that the guy turned her down for an Asian girl. I personally don't know anything about sex myths/stories about Asians, but from a (hypothetical, since I'm not white) white person view, they are still considered to be exotic (much like the sex myths/stories about black people, some of which I have heard of because I am black, but I can't say whether they're true or false for many reasons). So of course, given the chance a guy would choose an Asian girl over my roommate, whom he already obviously isn't into since he never (at least from my understanding) initiated any significant romantic interest/behavior. Lastly, I would like to say that I am glad that I'm not like that, although I have been lead on (although I'm beginning to think it was just me, but I am still trying to understand the male response side of it) just never to this magnitude (partly because of my religion and partly because that's just not the kind of person that I am. I do feel sorry for her to some degree, but I also feel that a lot of the blame falls on her too.Anyway, I think this will be all for today, so bye!!
