(So this is how my story goes people die and people live. I am usually a writer of the person's life after death, but thought it would be interesting to follow to opposites' lives...)

They traveled four years visiting each town they came across on the location of the two legendary blades described to them on that fateful day. All that they heard were dark rumours and mutterings. Nothing could lead them to the blades and they eventually split up. Each had a different intention. Josh, the fiery young lad who once had no friends returned to how it had been becoming an outcast that traveled the land in his search. He sought only to kill the demons who had destroyed his hometown, but the whispers of the past kept surfacing. The memory of his family and friends tugged at his heart. His intentions eventually turned and he sought to kill all spirits from the village that remained. He sought to rid himself of the past. Lance was mournful of their parting and vowed to see Josh again should they find the blades. He had acknowledged although grudgingly that thier family was gone and couldn't come back. He planned to use the swords to destroy the demons as well, but he also promised himself to find a way to put to rest the spirits of his village.
Josh dissapeared from history for a time and to this day no texts or accounts of his existence have been found. Lance found his way around the land and became a master archer. He was no longer boastful, but now humble as well in his manner. When he had turned 27 he became a mercenary and began fighting in a war that would lead to the rediscovery of the blades.
