Chapter 1: The Birth of Kuroi
Before the birth of the demon named Daisuke was the birth of an immortal named Kuroi, his birth was different from the others. When an explosion happened in the central city of Tokyo, demons have been walking around while angels come down from heaven to eliminate the demons so a war was proclaimed. Kuroi's mother can't take the baby anymore so the family, together with Daisuke's parents, brought her to the nearest doctor, witch doctor. Why? Because they knew that the baby will be a demon or immortal when it grows up because their family is half-demon/half-human, which is a hybrid to an immortal. The witch doctor draws a seal (some kind of alchemy, that is) which represents a six-sided star. The doctor now performs a ritual (or to be specific, the taboo, human transmutation), causing the seal to glow because of the reaction, Kuroi's mother shouted in pain while the others just looked at her and worried on what will happen.
"Is she going to be okay, the doctor's using human transmutation, something might happen to the child! Why are you all just standing there, not trying to stop the doctor?!" Constantine shouted at them.
"Don't worry... I will not try to hurt the child..." sighed the doctor.
"But... you're doing human transmutation, it's dangerous!
"Relax... nothing will happen to him..." the doctor just continued on what he's doing.
The transmutation seal is about to explode when the doctor said a forbidden spell so it should not be foretold. The seal deactivated then Kuroi's mother noticed that her abdomen grew smaller.
"What... what did you do to my child?!" she said crying at the doctor.
"Why cry... when your child is here..." the doctor goes inside a room to get something.
The family saw the baby and they were really happy. They named him Kuroi because it was dark gloomy day, the world was covered with chaos and people were crying for help and grieving for the people who died. The demons gave them a warning to leave quickly or else. And that day came (Daisuke's birth) but the other family members left just to avoid the attack of the demons in their place. Unfortunately, Kuroi's family wasn't with them because Kuroi's mother wants to help "Chi", Daisuke's mother. When Daisuke was born, the demons reached their place killing every person they see (even though they are only commanded to kill pregnant women). Their families were killed but fortunately, Constantine and the imp took Kuroi and Daisuke to safety. An explosion occurred at the village, leaving every person dead.

Chapter 2: Separation of the Cousins
Kuroi and Daisuke have been together for about 4 years but they didn't know that their bonding will be broken. It was a fine summer day in Constantine's sunflower fields, Kuroi and Daisuke were playing in the field while Constantine seems to be talking to somebody. Kuroi and Daisuke noticed them then became curious.
"I wonder what they'we talking abawt."
"I dunno, maybe it's abawt pastwies!" Kuroi said happily.
"I hope so... let's go play with the imp again!" Then they continued to play.
That night, Miaka, the person who was talking with Constantine earlier, gets inside Kuroi's room then wakes him up.
"Wake up now... oh young child." Miaka whispered to Kuroi.
"Who awe you? CONSTANTINE!!! There's a giwl in my room!" Constantine goes there to check, then he saw Miaka. "Oh, it's Miaka, she's my ex-wife, I guess she's here to bring you to her house for a vacation."
"Weally?! Is Daisuke coming too?!"
"Unfortunately, no..."
"Why???" Kuroi stubbornly asked. "Uh... he will be also coming but I guess it will take a few days because Constantine will need him for a special occasion."
"Oh, okay!"
Constantine packed all of Kuroi's things while Miaka prepared her car then started to cry.
"I hope Daisuke won't know this... but it's time for us to go..."
Miaka got on the car crying while Kuroi was so excited on what will happen.
"Why are you crying, Ms. Miaka?"
"It's nothing, dust just got into my eyes, that's all..."
She started the car engine until Daisuke saw them.
"Kuroi, pwease don't leave me.....!
"Daisuke..."
Miaka cried more then started to run the car so that Daisuke and Constantine won't be able to follow. Kuroi just saw Daisuke shouted and crying then he just thought that he was saying goodbye. He didn't know anything that he will not get back anymore and Daisuke won't be able to see him.
"I'm sorry but this is for the good of you two... I hope this would fruit to something beautiful... not making everything worse."
Miaka actually took Kuroi away to let Constantine train Daisuke easily while Miaka trains Kuroi. They will train them to get ready for something in the future.

Chapter 3: Vacation?
When Kuroi and Miaka reached their destination, which is a glass house by the beach, Kuroi was still thinking it was a vacation. Miaka took the luggage inside and showed Kuroi to his new room.
"Here you go, Kuroi, your new room!" Miaka smiled at Kuroi.
Kuroi was amazed on what he saw, the room is like Utopia, it includes gaming systems, toys, music stuff, a very comfortable bed, and a view of the beach outside. But Kuroi thought it was a vacation so he was curious on why did Miaka would prepare such an elegant room for him if he's just staying there temporarily. Kuroi paused for a while then began to think.
Maybe this is how Ms. Miaka welcomes and entertains her guests...
Kuroi walked inside then he began thinking about Daisuke. That afternoon, Miaka woke Kuroi for a snack. She paused then breathed deeply...
"I need to talk to you Kuroi..." Miaka said with a teary eye.
"What is it, Ms. Miaka?"
"You're not here for a vacation..."
Kuroi was speechless on what he heard. He began thinking about negative things on what will happen to him as he stay there.
"You're... you're... you're staying here, as you grow up that is..."
Kuroi was shocked, he felt numb, feeling like the whole world crashed with an asteroid. Tears began to fall on his eyes then he hugged Miaka.
"I understand you Ms. Miaka... you didn't have a child so you just adopted me." Kuroi then smiled at her. "I'm feeling that it much better this way... but please... let me stay alone for a while..."
"Okay..." Miaka left the snacks then get out of Kuroi's room crying. You still didn't know why we're doing this... it's hard for you to understand..."
That day was kinda gloomy. But the next day, Kuroi greeted Miaka a good morning like nothing happened yesterday. And from that day on, Kuroi lived with Miaka, not only treated him as her own son, but also a student. Miaka taught Kuroi how to bake because Kuroi really loves pastries.

Chapter 4: Eclipse
After a few days, Kuroi and Miaka became close then treated each other as relatives. One day, they were playing by the beach, as they play, an earthquake takes place, making the waves bigger. Kuroi didn't know how to swim that time so he and Miaka decided to get inside but a wave got Kuroi and pulled him to the ocean. Miaka just saw Kuroi shouting for help. She immediately searched for a life jacket or a floaty. Kuroi is still not losing hope.
"I c-can't die... die here..." he said with a mix of determination and fear.
Because of his courage, he tried to swim back to shore. Miaka threw the floaty to where Kuroi is. But the waves are big so Kuroi can't get the floaty. An eclipse took place, making it harder for Miaka to find Kuroi and harder for Kuroi to find the floaty. The rope of the floaty got loose then Miaka just cried then prayed:
"Oh, God, please let Kuroi be safe and sound. I can't lose that child, he's my responsibility." Miaka prayed while crying.
Because of being worried, she looks around to find something to help, unfortunately, there was nothing, she was surprised when she saw Kuroi by the shore, unconscious. She didn't even know how'd he get there (it's actually Constantine's pet, look at Daisuke's Story - Chapter 5). She immediately brought him inside to rest and when he regained consciousness, they watched the news.
"The emperor is inside the Imperial Palace right now, he's a hostage of unknown creatures and the army didn't know what to do!" The reporter said with a scared emotion on his face.
The another cameraman, who is by the foot of Tokyo Tower, focuses the camera to it, up there is a dark angel with very black wings.
"I bet he's the one who brings spirits to the other world." The reporter said pointing at the angel.
Two people came to the tower while Kuroi and Miaka didn't know it's Constantine and Daisuke. They saw how the action started. Out of the dark, a streak of light appeared in the Japanese sky, it's the very first aurora borealis in Japan. Out there came Aurora, the goddess of the dawn in Roman myth (Eos in Greek). Kuroi, not knowing it's an actual happening, thought it was a live action series, like Heroes (not promoting).
"Wow, this show is really great!" Kuroi said excitedly.
"Uh..." Miaka was about to say the truth but changed her mind later on. "You're right, the director must be very imaginative, the storyline is also exact with today's eclipse."
The battle of Aurora and Lucifer (the dark angel) started. As they watch, a streak of light just flashed making Lucifer and the other demons retreat. After such happenings, the sun came back to normal while Tokyo Tower is left ruined because of the battle.

Chapter 5: The Runaway Kuroi
A year after such happenings, summer is on Japan again. Kuroi and Miaka have lived together and are now having like a mother-son relationship. Chaos was also experienced by Japan for the war of Heaven against the Underworld (the Unholy War) is still not finished but the countryside, where Kuroi is, is not experiencing any war. To be faraway from war, Miaka decided to bring Kuroi with her to Fukuoka, Japan. Kuroi and Miaka are now packing their things then Miaka readied the car. They rode on the car and goes to a ship traveling to Fukuoka. Kuroi knew that they will be leaving Honshu. He got out of the car without Miaka's notice. Miaka looked at the place where Kuroi used to be. The ship was about to leave while Miaka still hasn't found Kuroi.
"Now where could that child go, KUROI!!!" she shouted.
She then saw Kuroi by the port. With her fast movement, she got there and followed Kuroi.
"Why are you keeping me and Daisuke away?! Why are these things happening?" Kuroi said crying.
"But... we're doing this to keep you both safe, Constantine can't take care of two children at once."
"But we'll take care of each other too, we just want to leave peacefully."
You really shouldn't know what's happening with Constantine and Daisuke right now..." Miaka thought. "The ship is about to leave, my car is still there..."
"I'll never go to Fukuoka without Daisuke!"
Kuroi runs away while Miaka tries to get her car. Fortunately, she got it then she runs after Kuroi while the ship already leaves.
"The ship already left..." she sighed.
They were chasing around the beach while people are watching at them. Miaka then became embarrassed but she gave her best shot to chase Kuroi. Unfortunately, she didn't managed to chase him.
Kuroi stopped by the golf course near their beach house. He feels how the air blows.
I wonder what's happening to you now, Daisuke... he inhaled.
Miaka continues to search for him then she found Kuroi lying asleep in the course. She carried Kuroi then put him on the car.
"He's right... maybe we should check on what's happening with Daisuke and Constantine, it's been a year since we saw them..."
She started the car engine then they traveled to Constantine's house in Tokyo. Kuroi was still asleep along the way while Miaka is worried about Constantine and Daisuke. They stopped for a while, reaching the countryside is hard. When they were sleeping, a doppelganger, which is sent by Lucifer, disguised as Daisuke. He woke Kuroi.
"Daisu-!" Daisuke blocked his mouth.
"Keep quiet, you might wake Miaka... let's go Constantine's house now!"
"Okay..."
They sneaked out leaving Miaka alone. Kuroi didn't even know that it was a doppelganger, not the real Daisuke, he didn't know that Lucifer has plans for him. When Miaka woke up, she was surprised that Kuroi was not there.
"Oh no, that child has gone missing again..." she became worried.
She didn't know that the Furies are behind her.
"Good night... missss..." Megaera said with a reptile-like voice.
They impaled Miaka leaving her unconscious then took her to Lucifer. Kuroi and Miaka (including the imp) will be set as a trap for Daisuke and Constantine.

Chapter 6: Ai Enma
The doppelganger and Kuroi plays in the middle of a flower field. They saw an old woman walking near, her face is too scary. The woman smiled at them while they are both terrified.
"Nice to see you, young children, did you just passed by?"
"Uh... yes, ma'am, we're going away now if you want us to..." Kuroi said while looking terrified.
"You can visit my granddaughter, Ai, if you want. She has no one to play with..."
"Okay..."
The woman was gone by a blink of an eye, they continued walking to the house, they entered and they saw a girl named Ai Enma.
"What do you need, visitors?"
"Um... I'm Kuroi and this is my cousin Daisuke, your grandmother told us to play with you for a while."
"Don't try to bug me at this time, I still have work for the master..."
The doppelganger and Kuroi gulped.
"What is that job of yours?"
"Do you really want to know it, it's not suitable for children like you..."
"Tell it to us, we want to know!" The doppelganger, disguised as Daisuke, shouted.
"If you insist... I'm Ai Enma and my job is..."
Kuroi and the doppelganger were both waiting for the answer.
"...to take people to...
When Kuroi and the doppelganger heard it, silence covered the place.
"HELL..." Ai said with a low voice.
"You're a reaper.....???"
"No, but I take the vengeance of the person who calls me..."
She shows a voodoo doll at them, on its neck is a red string.
"This is a cursed voodoo doll, if you truly wish to eliminate the person tormenting you, then pull the red string, once you pulled the string, you will enter an official contract with me, the soul of that person will be taken to hell but... you have to make a payment..."
"What is it?" Kuroi said while shaking.
"'If one person is cursed, two graves are dug', it means that once the soul of that person was taken to hell, once you die, your soul will be taken to hell as well. It's all your decision now... I'll be giving you this doll."
Ai reached the doll to Kuroi then he took it.
"But why me, I didn't call you..."
"You don't have to call me for that one, you will be the one who will decide if you will use it or not, if you didn't want to, hide it, you may use it someday..."
After their conversation, Kuroi and the doppelganger goes out.
"And, Kuroi and Daisuke,"
"Huh?""Huh?
"Thanks for visiting me..."
The two of them walked away while Kuroi still got the voodoo doll on his hands while he still didn't know that both of Miaka and him are on trouble.

Chapter 7: The Real Daisuke
As the two of them run away, they reached Constantine's flower fields. Oh no, we reached Constantine's place, once this child gets there, there's no way he wants to go away... proceed to Plan B! the doppelganger thinks.
"Daisuke, we're now here! I can finally see Constantine again!" Kuroi shouts and shouts.
"Okay, okay, we're going now..." the doppelganger said sounding like annoyed.
Kuroi keeps shouting because of happiness, the echoes of his shouts goes to Constantine's house, which attracted the real Daisuke to see who is coming. When Kuroi see that someone opened the door, he runs towards it and hugged him. He was surprised to see that it was another Daisuke.
"Daisuke...?"
"Yes, it's me, who else could I be?"
"But..."
Daisuke looks towards the person behind Kuroi.
"Who are you, you impostor?!" the real Daisuke pointed at the doppelganger.
"You're the impostor, I'm the real one! And how did you get here, not being sensed by Constantine or the Shadowl?!" the doppelganger makes up.
"Wait a minute! What is going on here?! Is this some kind of a magic trick?!" Kuroi stopped them.
"One of us must be an impostor, and the impostor is the one who brought you here!" Daisuke shouted.
Constantine and the Shadowl came into the scene.
"What is going on here?!"
Daisuke pulled an owl which looks familiar to Kuroi.
"This Shadowl can explain, he can sense who is the impostor and who is real!"
Hey, that owl... he saved me from the last time... but is that owl a pet of Constantine? Kuroi thought.
"Liar! Shadowls are known as the most intelligent owls but they are also unfaithful they sometimes made up stuff and says lies, how could you trust a Shadowl like that?!" the doppelganger countered. The Shadowl was hurt.
Constantine punched the wall to give attention. "Studying the words you say, you are the liar... you are a doppelganger who copies Daisuke! A Shadowl is a trusty pet, they've been used by the Mitsuki family since then!"
Kuroi cuts the chat, he remembered something. "And he's the one who saved me from being drowned during the eclipse last year!"
Then, that makes you as the liar!" Daisuke points at the doppelganger.
"I knew my secret would be revealed..." the doppelganger said with a scary tone, he transforms back to his original form.
He threw them outside then he turns to a dragon. He breathes fire at them, burning some flowers.
"Oh no, NOT MY FLOWERS!!!"
 "Daisuke take this... this is an Electrum Knife, Electrum is a mythical element used to kill dragons."
Wow, it can actually talk, Electrum eh, sounds awesome... Kuroi was amazed.
Daisuke uses fairydust and flies to the dragon's head.
Woah! He can fly using that fairydust! I missed a lot of things here! Kuroi is still amazed.
Daisuke cut the dragon's horn and it fainted, once the dragon fell to the ground, someone grabbed Kuroi.
"You'll be joining Miaka to Lucccifer'sss throne..."
Megaera punched him so he became unconscious.
Why is this happening to us? What is going on??? that was the last thing in Kuroi's mind before he was unconscious.
He didn't know that the Furies took him with them and they're going to Lucifer's Throne.

Chapter 8: Alruna and Anurla
When Kuroi opened his eyes, he saw Miaka beside him, she's unconscious and looks weak.
"Miaka! Are you okay? What are we doing here?"
Miaka's hands moved a little then she spoke.
"We... need to get out *coughs*, I know now why are they doing this to us, they are after... *coughs* Daisuke, they're trying to sacrifice him to... *coughs* Satan... we're just the bait..." Miaka said with a weak voice.
Tisiphone and Alecto entered the prison and dragged Kuroi and Miaka, they began shouting.
"Why are you dragging us?!"
"Where are you taking us?!!! Let us go!!!"
Alecto answered. "Sssorry, but this is the order of Lucccifer... we have to follow it. We're taking you to a placcce that we guarantee you would like."
Miaka began thinking about what place is it. The first thing to enter her mind is about demons, then about lust, for demons say that it is the most beautiful sin, and then finally, the Succubi and the Incubi for they are connected to lust and demon.
"You're taking us to the House of Lust?!" she shouted.
"Good thing you found out! We're taking you there!" Tisiphone said.
Kuroi, as an innocent child, began thinking about the word '"lust", but he can't figure it out.
Once they are at the House of Lust, Tisiphone and Alecto knocked on the door, a sexy male demon opened it.
"What do you need, mistress?" the sexy demon asked.
"We're giving you a ssspecial guessst." Tisiphone replied.
"We know that you would love them..." Alecto said quickly after Tisiphone's reply.
They were stopped when someone shouted. It is a succubus with an incubus, and they look like that they are the ones who manage the place.
 "If you really wish to get those victims of Lucifer's schemes, you have to pass through us!" the Succubus said.
 "Lucifer has gone too far! He's pulling even the descendants of the Mitsuki family over our House!" the Incubus added.
The Succubi stopped chasing Kuroi while the Incubi freed Miaka and put her clothes on.
"What is it now, Master?" the Succubi said looking at their "boss".
"What are your orders now, Master?" the Incubi said looking also at their "boss".
"Um... excuse me but who are you two kind people?" Kuroi then asked.
"My name is Alruna, a Succubus! And we're not people, we're demons!" Alruna introduced.
"And I'm Anurla the Incubus!" Anurla introduced too.
"You said Mitsuki family, that's our lineage, but what is your connection with us?" Kuroi asked.
Alruna and Anurla just stared at him. "So, this child is a Mitsuki... Lucifer is really after your family..." Alruna said staring at the child.
"But, he didn't know that we're connected with his family, which means Constantine is hiding their secrets from him..." Anurla said.
"This is how we are connected to your family... let Alruna explain it."
"It is like this... during a war of demons against the Seraphim, your family was stuck in the middle of it. Us, Succubi and Incubi tried to help your family. But Lucifer manipulated the others' minds, leaving me and Anurla as the only ones who are able to help you... and then we gave a black rose to your family elder for it is a sign of our treaty with your family. And because of our help, the Mitsuki family managed to survive in that war." Alruna explained.
After their conversation, they heard knocks on the door. It was the Furies, when they entered they saw that the Incubi and Succubi are just listening to Alruna and Anurla.
"You again!!! How many timesss musst we tell you that you have to do your vork!!!" Megaera scolded.
"You can order us to do that on other people but here is a descendant of the Mitsuki family, which we helped a long time ago..." Alruna explained.
"YOU CAN'T DISOBEY US AND LUCIFER! That was a long time ago anyway, why are you still remembering it?!" Megaera answered.
"You can't understand, for you have no feelings, and the Mitsuki and us are friends! There's nothing, race or even work, that can destroy our friendship! The Mitsukis never did something against Lucifer anyway."
"YOU WOULDN'T BE AN INCUBUS AND A SUCCUBUS WITHOUT US!!!" The Furies tied Alruna and Anurla with the use of ball and chains and then inside an iron maiden. They moved the iron maiden. "Die for the greatest disobedience you've done!!!"
The iron maiden keeps getting narrower while Alruna and Anurla's lives are in great danger.
Miaka keeps thinking of a plan to save the demons who once helped their family long ago.

Chapter 9: Death of Furies
Miaka threw a big stone over the iron maiden which makes Alruna and Anurla free. "Thanks very much, starting from now, we'll be handling these ourselves, okay?" Anurla pleaded.
"Let's go, Anurla!" Alruna and Anurla then attacked the Furies with the use of a shadow ball.
The Furies countered with the use of another shadow ball.
"Why do you always say that you are the ones who are higher than us, even though we are really more powerful than you?!" Alruna asked angrily.
"Because we really are more powerful than YOU! Lucifer is on our side so he gives us the power to be as powerful as him!" Megaera answered.
The battle literally heats up when they all tried to shoot fireballs at each other, the other incubi and succubi putted Kuroi and Miaka on a safe place but can still watch the fight. Kuroi is now worried.
"Are they going to be okay, Miaka?" he asked while staring at the two of them.
"They'll be okay, I'm sure of it!" Miaka then said smiling.
Alruna and Anurla keeps firing dark flames while the Furies keeps countering by fiery flames.
"Tisiphone, summon the army! Alecto, just keep countering their attacks! I'll do my dark spell." Megaera then shouted.
Blood dripped out of Tisiphone's eyes, releasing her true form, the serpents on her head appeared and then she shouted. "Now, army of the undead, rise from Tartarus, the sides of Hades, and the Frozen Lake, with the power of Lucifer, the Devil, Hades, and the Princes of Hell, rise from your graves and help your masters with your full respect!" Tisiphone chanted.
The skeletons rose from their graves and hurried to the House of Lust. Megaera then casts the spell over the undead army. She made them combine and polymerize to create a gigantic skeleton. It was covered with a silver armor and holds a great golden axe with the symbols: εκδίκηση which means "vengeance". It also wears a platinum helm which has the symbols: Ἐρινύες which means "Erinyes" or the Furies themselves.
The skeleton swings it's axe over Alruna and Anurla, they were about the get slashed when a voice said "PACEM! (peace!)" the undead stops and the axe turns to ash.
It gave Alruna and Anurla the chance to get the Furies. They pushed them over the iron maiden, which was about to close at that exact time. The Furies didn't have the chance to get out of it and it is now narrower than a human body.
"LUCIFER, HADES, WE FAILED YOU......" the three of them shouted.
Miaka blocks Kuroi's eyes so he would not see what's happening. When the iron maiden was closed, blood squirted from the inside and dark aura blows around the area. The undead army turns to ash and the bodies of the Erinyes vanished like a bubble.
"And that is the last of the Furies!" Alruna said panting.
"I hope it is, I'm sick of following their orders..." Anurla sighed.
By the end of the day, Alruna leads them to the way to outside.
"What if Lucifer knew that this happened?" Miaka worries.
"Don't worry, we'll still be friends, from the past until forever ends!"
"Just go now, don't worry, we'll be okay."
"I hope we'll get to see each other again!" Kuroi smiled.
The two of them waves at Kuroi and Miaka as they walks further and further. But, even though the Furies are gone, the Waves of Dark Forces are still not over. For deep beneath the Earth's surface awaits a lost kingdom never known since the beginning of time.

Chapter 10: Gravitas, The Magnetic Shift
It's a fine autumn day, all seems to be pretty normal. Kuroi and Miaka were baking a big cake for their neighbor's birthday. As they work, their neighbor readies the party in their house. Miaka remembered something.
"Kuroi!" she shouted.
"What is it, Miaka?" Kuroi asked curiously.
"I just remembered something..." Miaka and Kuroi placed their baking set by the living room to watch the TV.
"This is the day we've been all waiting for, a mega magnetic shift will happen today! But do not expect it would bring good results, be sure to ready your earthquake protection equipment, we're going to experience a once-in-a-lifetime event!" the reporter said on the TV, reminding about the coming magnetic shift.
"What's up with that?"
"It's just that it's so weird... it's a very normal week, and suddenly... a magnetic shift will happen..." Miaka said.
"What do you mean?"
"We should be ready for this cataclysmic event, I should show something to you!"
Miaka led Kuroi to the basement of their beach house. Miaka pressed a button by a surfboard furniture. A bookshelf moves and reveals a secret door. Miaka opened it, and they entered an underground baking and gadgetry lab.
"Sweeeeet!" Kuroi shouted, looking around.
 "Unlike your room, the gadgets are far more dangerous so don't touch them! We're only here to prepare the cake and to prepare things for the magnetic shift that will happen later this day." Miaka warned.
Kuroi nodded his head, they walked to the baking lab. Kuroi almost drooled over the pastries by the rack (see picture).
"I'm planning to establish a business with your help!" Miaka said to Kuroi.
"Really?!" he said delighted.
"Of course." Kuroi shouted in happiness and then stopped. "But the earthquake might destroy it..." he sighed.
"Don't worry, my lab can withstand any shockwaves, even if an asteroid hit Earth!" Miaka boasted.
They started to bake. Kuroi designed the cake with candies, icings, and more while Miaka is the one who bakes more cakes for the party. They enjoyed baking.
They reached 9:00 AM in baking (they started at 5:00 AM to make sure their delivery is ready). But, unfortunately, the magnetic shift is about to start.
The ground started to shake at less than magnitude 2.0 in the Richter Scale. Kuroi and Miaka were currently preparing the other equipment for the earthquake, and also the things for the birthday party. The shaking is not yet felt by many people so they didn't know it is already happening. The day goes around and the magnitude goes up to 2.3.
"I wonder when will the magnetic shift will happen..." Kuroi sighed sitting by the pastry rack.
"It should be starting now..."
Kuroi was surprised. "But... what about our neighbors?!" he said nervously.
"I activated the shock-absorbing field over our beach house so that they will evacuate once the earthquake gets stronger, we'll be celebrating the party here." Miaka said.
Kuroi sighed in relief. The earthquake gets stronger up to magnitude 2.9.
They started the party by 10 in the morning. The earthquake was at magnitude 3.1 that time. They were all happy in dancing and singing during the party, while outside, the earthquake is being felt.
They continued the party, without knowing that the earth was under a great magnetic shift. Miaka looked by the ocean and hurriedly grabbed a book. Kuroi saw the book that she was holding.
"What is that book, Miaka? And why didn't you join the party?" Kuroi asked.
Oh no, I can't tell him that this book is their family book, if I let him see this, he might discover the truth about his family. Miaka was nervous. "This is an encyclopedia about the world beyond normal people, Constantine gave it to me." she lied.
Kuroi really thought it's an encyclopedia so Miaka showed it to him. She saw an entry about the Gravitas, the citizens of the Earth's tectonic plates. It says:
Gravitas ('græv.ɪ.tæs) (sin: Gravitae) citizens of the ancient tectonic plates of Earth. Believed to live in the place called "Kingdom of Gravita", derived from the Latin word 'gravitas' (heaviness), they have the power to control gravity and tectonic plates. They are very dangerous if left on loose in the surface, they could bring stars from heaven to the ground, making a catastrophic event. see also: Kingdom of Gravita, gravity
"Gravitas? How do they connect with today's event?" Kuroi asked.
"They are the ones responsible for this event, I think. Constantine would be thinking of the same thing too... but he is the only one who has a driller* so... we can't dig underground to see the Gravitas." Miaka answered.
*driller = the driller said in Daisuke's story, Chapter 10
Kuroi looked outside, the shaking is quite noticeable by many people now. The other people, their neighbors, inside the house also looked outside, they were terrified, they are thinking that the earthquake might become more powerful. The intensity scale was in magnitude 4.1 already.
The coconut trees by the beachside began shaking. Some coconuts even fall from them. The waves in the ocean are getting higher. The earthquake gradually rose to magnitude 4.7. "Is this the end of time?" Kuroi sighed looking outside the window.
They all sat down by the big sofa in the living room and turned on the TV. "The earthquake is now happening, every part of the world is feeling it, the rare magnetic shift is here!" the reporter said. "In Russia, which is near the North Pole, the intensity was already at magnitude 5.5, in USA, the earthquake is at magnitude 4.5. In Antarctica, the earthquake is at magnitude 5.7, and some ice shelves are reported to collapse, so you may also experience water level rising."
In Japan, where the story goes around, the earthquake was at magnitude 4.8.
When the Kingdom of Gravita was near at the surface (see Daisuke's story, Chapter 10 to see the action), the earthquake gradually rose to magnitude 6.1, which is now felt all around the globe, except in the Earth's magnetic poles, where the magnetic shift happens. It is already magnitude 6.5 there.
Miaka noticed the people inside their house worry. "Don't worry, people, we're all safe here, but if you're worried about our fellowmen outside, I'm sorry, but this the maximum number of the visitor capacity of this house, if we are too many inside, this house might lost its hold and we'll all die." she calmed the people. They are all worried as they watch the video footage shown in the TV. They all just watched as the devastating earthquake destroys the world.

Chapter 11: Time for Miracles
As they watch the TV, the reporter cut the scene.
"Hello, sorry for interrupting your watching, if you are... the reporter introduced. "NASA found that the star constellation called Pleiades has entered the Solar System and it is traveling too fast, they speculate that the 'stars' would strike Earth because of it's great speed and direction. The exact location where the constellation would hit is on Russia, and because of the magnetic shift, the star can enter our planet easily."
All of them were very scared and there's nothing to do but to pray that the world would survive.
The earthquake is now at magnitude 7.5 to 8.0, buildings around Japan have been toppled and the Tokyo Tower was completely destroyed.
"We received a great news from Russia! Please watch this video, even though it's blurry... we found this great palace that looks like it came from the underground!"
I knew it... it was them... Miaka thought.
Miaka goes to a hidden room, which Kuroi didn't know yet. Miaka kneels and then a curtain reveals a statue of Jesus by the room.
"If you don't know this, Kuroi, I'm an angel sent by God to watch this world... don't be afraid, I'm your friend." Miaka revealed her true self.
Kuroi just stared at her, for he even see angels in his dreams. "Miaka, please save this world from chaos..." Kuroi begged. "I'm afraid I can't, only God can change this world, He can perform miracles the world has ever seen."
Miaka closes her eyes and prayed. The statue of Jesus glows. As they pray, the earthquake was at magnitude 11.5, almost same as the asteroid strike since the dinosaur age. Every famous landmarks on the world are being destroyed and toppled, except for the Jesus the Redeemer Statue in Rio de Janeiro. The Statue glows and gives power to Constantine, who is being used by God now.
At magnitude 12.7, Los Angeles was devastated and big holes in the ground were created (just like in the movie 2012 not promoting! All Rights Reserved), Mt. Everest collapses and buries half of Nepal, Mt. Fuji collapses too, burying parts of Japan and affected it's culture. Life was almost wiped out of the planet, with magnitude 13.
The live telecast in Russia can still be viewed but they don't know that it was Daisuke and Constantine on the scene, but Miaka knows it. As they watch, they noticed great shining lights, which are the Pleiads and Atlas. Earth was being eaten by great massive tidal waves, especially countries by the shores.
Constantine, seen from the TV, finally released the power he got. A great blinding light covered Russia and the Kingdom of Gravita was being eaten by the ground again. Every people who died were brought back to life and most that are destroyed were fixed. Earth is peaceful once more.
"I wonder what happened to Daisuke..." Kuroi wondered, teary-eyed and he can't imagined that things like that would happen quickly.
He missed Daisuke so much. Miaka goes back to her original form so that the others won't be afraid. They all stayed at Miaka's house for the night. On the beach, they can see debris from the buildings that collapsed during the earthquake
