Another city lay freshly in ruins. The buildings still burn and the few survives run for their lives. Kage stands in the midde of the street, A young man of 21 now. The ground around him still smokes from the maelstrom of fire he just conjured and set loose on his surroundings to finish the devistation. With his scyth in one hand, blade hanging just above the ground, and the other hand at his waist held open he began walking the street searching for survivors.

In the distance the once great wall that protected the city could be seen. It now was mearly a pile of rubble that surrounded the town. As he walked he slowly approached a women knelt down next to a deseased man cover in dirt and his own blood. She was weeping and clutching onto him tightly when she spotted Kage. As the cournered mouse attacks the cat, so too did the women lash out with words or rage at him. "You!...How could you do this!? We did nothing to deserve such brutality!" In a flash Kage was a short distance from her, with his scythe blade beneath her chin. The blade was sharpened on both sides making it more vesitile and lethal for an experienced wielder. "How presumptious...Arrogance breeds ignorance..." His eyes filled with hate as he stared at her. Without second thought she spoke up against him again. "If I am to die now...Atleast I die next to the one I love." He was unfassed by her words as he responded. "...Then you have wasted your life..." Was the last words she would hear before he spun around quickly slashing her several times with both sides of the blade before she collapsed onto her lost love. Kage looked down at the too, standing his scythe on its end as he heard another speak out too him. "You...You are more frightening then we feared..." The voice was weak and was fallowed by several coughs. Kage turned to see a man in robes laying on his back against the rubble of a guild that once stood in the city. "And to think...we could've gotten to you sooner." He coughed. "But the witch hides her movements well..."

Kage walked towards the man, his eyes staring deeply at him. "You talk as though you know me...It is mearly a dillusion from the lose of blood...it will soon be over..." The mans hand the rested across his torso lifted up slowly and his palm gave off a subtle light. The man was healing himself the best he could to stay alive for a few moments longer. "You waste your time old man...your wounds are too great..." "If I can stay alive long enough...for you to hear my words...then it was not a waste...Kage." Kage's eyes widened hearing his true name come from the mans lips. Quickly he placed the blade of his scythe at the mans neck. "How do you know my name!?...Answer!" The man smiled and coughed again as he once more attempted to heal his wounds. "I know much about you Kage...Where you are truely from...The history of our bloodline...even when you fell to darkness..." The man didnt break eye contact with Kage, only stared back deeply into his hate filled eyes. "You were lied too...You're fate was not too plunge the world into chaos...You were meant for much more..." "And what would you know of my Destiny?...You are but an old mage, clouded by foolish dreams. It is you who lies..."

The man smiled back and gave a light chuckled that spawned more coughing. "What reason have I to tell you lies?...I lay in wait for death's embrace...Nothing would come of lies at this point." His face now grew serious again staring deeper into Kage's eyes. "Alexandra is not your mother...She killed your mother, your family...Destroyed your village...and all just to take you for her own." "No...She is my mother...My master...She has kept me, taught me...shown me all i know." The mans expression grew cross. "You were deceived...I'm sorry...We tried to find you before it was too late...but when we arrived...your home already lay in ashes." He coughed again as Kage began thinking on the mans words. His heart feeling like it knew of what the man spoke as he slowly pulled back his scythe and stood it on its end still watching the man. He grew more curious as the man spoke again. "You know it be true...I can sense it in you...You still seek answers...Here take this." He said pulling out a charm on the end of a leather necklace and held it out for Kage to take. The charm was a runestone about an inch wide and three inches long. It held three glowing markings symbolic to the norse mythology. The runes continued glowing as Kage reached out and took it from him. "Seek out the Order of Fate...Show them this...They will grant you entry...As well as the answers you seek." The mans arm fell limp, landing heavily next to him as Kage spoke. "...What purpose does this serve?...Why would you aid me?" The man smiled softly as he grew weaker. "I have done what I can...You must discover that on your own...Kage...do not...let chaos...consume you..." The mans words faded into the wind as the last bits of life left his body. Kage stood silently, he began to stare at the Charm the man gave him, looking deeply into its glow. "Alexandra...If you lied to me...You shall burn."
