This is stuff i wrote, like it or go away
Chapter 1 Loss
Only feeling the wind blow through my short brownish black hair and the coat around me lightly brushing back and forth was all that I could feel.
Just seeing her grave stone brought more tears to my eyes.

The sun was barely setting as Oz nudged my shoulder "Come on Alice. Don't be sad. Would it make you feel better if I walked you home?".

I couldn't help but smile at Ozs attempt at making me feel better. "Sure. It'd make me happier then I am now" I told him, wiping a fallen tear with my sweater sleeve. Oz smiled widely and waited for me to walk next to him as he rollerbladed slowly away.

"Must you wear those roller blades?" I asked.

"Why yes. Of course"

I stiffed a chuckle as we began walking home. My house was three blocks down from the graveyard and living that far didn’t help cooping over my friends death any easier.

My name is Alice Ramirez and my rollerblading friend is Oz Blazer. He’s one of the few people I count on in life. In the world I only have six best friends in the world: Oz Blazer, Raymun Jester, Melanie Anderson, Emily Alvarez, Coraline Baltazore, and Andre Baltimore. My friends Andre and Emily disappeared last year in June while we were visiting my Aunt and Uncle in Alabama. Soon enough my friend Melanie disappeared as well only last month out of no where. Then there’s Coraline. She….died, well was found dead, no one knows how or why or if it was even suicide or murder. Oz lives next door to my house. He moved into that house three years ago that’s why we walk home together and talk twenty-four seven. Raymun on the other hand doesn’t live close but we talk at school. Oh and just to mention me and my friends are sixteen and sophomores.

“Any updates on the disappearances?” I asked Oz with little hope. All he did was look at me with sad eyes while he swayed left to right ‘NO’ was what his colorful eyes told me. His white moon-like hair blew with the wind as the setting sun complimented his cinnamon colored skin when he spoke looking away from my regular hazel eyes “No reports. My dad hasn’t found…anything”. “Ok” was all I could reply with.
