So I looked up how to pronounce Frank Iero's last name today, because I was having an "heated discussion" (argument) with a friend of mine who is also a HUGE fan of My Chemical Romance, as big of a fan as me. He said that it was pronounced "Lee-roe" I said that it was pronounced "Eye-Eer-Oh"
(But none of that is very important to the big picture)

I was certain, but looked it up anyway, and I was right (take that Brian) but while looking it up I stumbled across Urban Dictionary's bits on Frank Iero. As I skimmed through them I noticed a lot of people saying that My Chemical Romance fans cannot also be fans of leATHERMOUTH, if they are that means that they are just posers and only listen to the music, because of Frank Iero (Lead vocalist of post-hardcore band leATHERMOUTH and Rhythm guitarist of popular punk-rock band My Chemical Romance)
Upon reading this I was slightly insulted, I am an enormous fan of My Chemical Romance, and am also a fan of leATHERMOUTH. Now in my opinion most fans of leATHERMOUTH genuinely enjoy that music, now I am sure that a few fans are only interested in Frank, but even then those supposed fans of leATHERMOUTH are probably not even fans of My Chemical Romance (fangirls most likely). I admit, normally I don't listen to such "screamo" and "hardcore" bands as leATHERMOUTH, but it's great when I am in the mood for something like that, yes I heard of the band from My Chemical Romance, but that doesn't mean I am any less of a fan than someone else. And no I'm not saying that leATHERMOUTH is one of my all-time favorites, but it's a band that I do like, and yeah I have their album and listen to it. Also I've noticed the same thing regarding another one of Frank Iero's other bands, this band, Pencey Prep, was Frank's band before My Chemical Romance. Pencey Prep I like even more than leATHERMOUTH (Frank Iero is the guitar and lead vocals) though again it isn't my favorite band, I heard of this band through My Chemical Romance as well, but AGAIn that doesn't make me (or ANYONE else who heard of either bands through My Chemical Romance) any less of a fan.
