Entry #42
If anything this last month has taught me it is this:

A) Life will make you do what you need to (1st time I sent in my laptop to the States for repairs)

B) Life will throw you a curve ball, but you will persevere (2nd time I sent my laptop for repairs)

C) Life will put salt on your wounds (3rd time I sent my laptop for repairs)

D) Life will rip your heart out and make you eat it (4th time my laptop broke)

E) Then Life will heal your wounds and pat you on the back (I received a replacement laptop)

F) Repeat A through E forever and ever until the day you die.

So all in all, yeah you'll have drama in your life. We all do. We'll get poked at, sneered at, laughed at, kicked at... but in the end, it's all about choice.

You can either choose to wallow in your misery and throw tantrums and demand that life owes you something. And let me (and many others) forewarn you that no matter what anybody says, life owes you nothing.

OR, you can choose to live with what crap life puts you through. You can choose to do what you need to and, even though it's difficult as all hell, you can choose to find what little goodness you do have. Whether it's a kind word from a stranger or a tiny blossom out of a grove of weeds, it's YOUR choice. YOU have the power to give yourself happiness.

And of course a friend or two helps. ^.^ Thank you, Kitty and everyone else here at Gaia, for all that you've done for me.

With that said, you may now chuck rotten oranges, dead fish, and any other junk items at me. XP

Sounds like a rough month... I still want a laptop! Dx

Life has many philosophies, not all too accurate as it varries with each person. But the point you make is rather true on my account. Life throws me down, day after day. And when I seem to finally get a step ahead in life, God finds it his duty to push me back 2 more steps.

Though it may be our own desires, our own choices to control what we do. We can't control everything in which will happen to us. Every choice we make has a pro, but in every choice is also at a balance; thus a con is opposed.

But, what do I know? My entire life is one big corny soap opera. Great to see you on Gaia again, Shime. xD
