As I sit here,
Bottle in one hand,
Joint in another,
I feel my sanity slipping further and further.
I am so weightless,
And yet so totally grounded,
Our love was a lie,
And on a lie it was founded.
In my mind I tire of seeing your face,
Tire of seeing that place.
Tired of remembering,
Tired of trying to forget,
So I just sit here and light up another cigarette.
I close my eyes,
The room is spinning,
Hopefully this is the end,
And so a new beginning.
