Try to make a choice you cannot make.
Did you choose your parents?
Did you choose your teachers? Your school?
If all of these things were thought to you and were forced upon you, (which all of the above is based off of everything you make your choices off of), how is that free will?
Everything you do is based on things you have done. You cant make a decision that you would not make. You cant be yourself, you can only make choices the way you would make them.
Your brain is a reaction organ, it is not going react a way that it cant. If a choice is forced upon you then you also didn't have free will. If someone throws something at you, you can move, catch it, or let it hit you. But the person that threw it at you has made you make a choice, there is no free will in that. Free will is an illusion to hold you responsible for uncontrollable circumstances where you are forced to make a choice.
You cannot make a decision that you cant make.
If you could, then you would make it and then it wouldn't be a decision that you couldn't make.
There fore, regardless of how you may feel, free will is an illusion.
