I'm bored now... not many to talk to on AIM right now, Gaia forums are boring right now, and the RPs I'm in aren't very exciting. I've been thinking about making a Mortal Kombat RP, but really, how many MK fans are really out there? And for those who are MK fans, not many fully understand the story. Most see it as just a fighting game. But, it has a history, and each character has their own storyline. Only a true fan can really understand.
I wanted to base it sometime after the defeat of the Dragon King. Shujinko serves as the guardian of the nexus, Liu Kang gets his body back, etc... If people actually proved to understand the characters, and be updated on events with that character, then they could RP as them. But, like every MK game, new characters appear. New characters are characters that are created by whoever decides to make them in the RP. Give them a history, an alliance, motives, and really make that character come to life. It would be pretty neat as heroes, old and new, work together to fight whatever new threat appears. And villians, new and old, work to gain whatever it is they want... most likely control of the realms, while defeating whoever stands in their way. But, like I said. Not enough TRUE MK fans out there, so the RP would be a failure. sad
