Norway - Somewhere along the northern shore

A merchants town resting along the shores. Trade ships docked and unloading goods while others were being loaded for departure. The town was alive with people all around wandering amongst the buildings. Walking along these humble merchants, peasants, villagers and travelers were two men seeking a terrible goal. Death was wandering the streets and no one knew he was there.

Wearing black robes with baggy hoods, Kage and Marcus were watching everyone as they strode through the various groups like an ordinary breeze. Kage looked at Marcus from underneath his hood. "This is a good place...Plenty of trade...Plenty of souls." He said grimly. The Viking looked back at him as the two started down a side street, towards an inn. "And what of your demon? Will you let it be unleashed?" The Viking man questioned. "No...not this time." Kage's tone was solemn. The look on his face had long been left blank and heartless, as if he were an empty shell.

The two stopped in front of the inn and looked back down the way they had just came. This path had a few people walking behind them. Drifting past them not paying attention to the two, leaving them strangely alone. "They've never made it this easy." Marcus said calmly taking note of the situation. "Kill them..." Kage ordered to the Viking who immediately removed his robe revealing black armor with no sleeves. His great muscles bulged as he drew the double edge battle axe from his back and held it in front of himself. He let out a Vikings Yell as he charged back where they had just came from. Slashing at the first person he came upon, Marcus axe cut into his chest. After a brief moment of shock the stunned spectators began screaming and running for their lives in all directions.

Some took up arms drawing weapons of their own and charging back at marcus but the giant man was too good. As he engaged them, time and time again was another cut down. His skills in combat were truly frightening. Kage meanwhile had unleashed a wall fire at the inn they had stopped in front of. The building was engulfed in flames and people were pouring out of it running from the flaming building only to find that they were on fire. Some only in small areas, while others were completely covered in flames. Without hesitation Kage drew the scythe he had strapped to his back under his cloak and held it at the ready. With the deadly staff held out he ran at them with an unreal speed. He cut through them with his scythe fluidly and through many in single swings. He cut them all down and continued own through the town casting various destructive spells at nearly every building he saw. Stopping in various places to finish those that were still clinging to life.

Men, women, children, it didnt matter. They killed everyone while simultaneously destroying nearly all the buildings. Kage had summoned many undead warriors to spread more chaos through the town. They marched in without resistance as many of the docked trade ships were trying to set sail with fully untying themselves. Some managed to pull away after a few moments while the ones that were anchored still too the docks were sitting ducks.

Kage and Marcus descended on the helpless ships and sailors still docked or just starting away from the port. The town burned and the two began to admire their work. "Start gathering out take." Kage said as he took a drink from a bottle of absinthe he had taken from on of the taverns. He passed the bottle to his friend who also took a long drink. "Raid everything. Kill anyone you find." He ordered to the Viking who nodded before starting to his task. Few people escaped on a single ship and a few from the borders of the town. The few survivors that could spread the word about what happened, unless they didnt survive after their escape. The two demons gathered their spoils and salvaged what they could from everything the town had and just as suddenly as they had appeared they vanished into the winds.
