Entry #44
If there is any writer I feel most connected to, it would be Anais Nin. Once a week, I would like to share at least one (or two) of her quotes.

This quote is dedicated to all of us (y'all know who you are :3) here at Gaia.

"Each friend represents a world in us, a world not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born."

Isn't it amazing, when we least expect it, we meet someone who really and truly has "changed our lives forever?" I feel that we're meant to meet the people we meet because it helps us to grow and develop into the fully matured beings. Whether for good or for bad, these people help to discover and define who we are.

Here at Gaia, or for any online forum and such, we tend to open ourselves more because of the anonymity. And isn't it something when we suddenly find ourselves drawn to certain people when we're just passing through a thread? And then we PM them and a new friendship blossoms.

I've noticed that everyone (Kitty, Wanderer, Naratsu, Yueh...etc.) has said at one time or another that they miss the old days where we've gotten together and just chatted for a while. Who could've known that any one of us would have found such a circle of friends?

In every relationship, familial, friendly, or marital, we somehow find a piece of ourselves within the other that attracts us and that we understand. We carry within ourselves a ball of invisible thread. And when we meet and create close ties with others, that thread reaches out and weaves a web of intricate bonds.

So no excuses of not knowing anyone or being afraid of people! Get out there and dizzy yourself with the endless, possible worlds that will appear when you gain new friends!

You may now chuck dead fish, banana peels, and any other environmentally-safe, degradable items. XD

P.S. Read "Demian" and "Brave New World." :3 They may seem dorky and weird, but they're quite excellent to read.

I must say that I have to agree with you at a full extent. I'm fasinated by a number of things in life, whether it be foreign religions or simple mythology. But Philosophy and theorical opinions on life tickly my fancy the most.

Fate is a Goddess inside us all that has supposedly written what happens to us and how already. Like a book being read, we play our roles accoringly. I do believe in Fate, whether it be true or not; because if there's one thing for certain, everything happens for a reason.

I'm quite thankful for the friends I've made online, and the friends I had from school. Even if there are a large number of them I can't stand to be around anymore, I'm still thankful that I met them at a point in life. Who knows? I might even be friends with them again if all works out.

Theres a theorie, the name escapes me now, but it states for every descion in life we make that a 2 universes are created. For example whether I met you or not, I'm living in the world where I met you(if the theory is correct) and I couldn't be happier. I honestly don't believe in Destiny and Fate but I do find Mythology on the subject Fasinating.

I'd also like to point out that remenising about the "old days" is fun but I can't wait to find out what lies in store for you shime. Your thoughts are very profound and well-thought keep it up shime keep it up...

P.S. This is what the alphabet would look like without the letterrs Q and R
