The day battles with the night
their spilt blood,
painting the heavens red

The sky darkens
bruises rise,
day finally yeilded to the night

The stars appear
like bloodthirsty spectators
only just recently sated

Giving the wandering clouds
their etheral beauty,
giving them their silver lining

Yet being blotted out
by flying water
makes them more precious

The moon rises
given its light by the sun
the only way the two sides ever meet

The moon does not shine
without the gaze of the sun....
The sun is not so brilliant
without the contrast of the moon...

The night and the day
the moon and the sun
the clouds and the stars

Lovers entwined in an
eternal dance, Never to meet
yet needing each other

But made to do battle
becuase of their contrasting natures

Not compatible,
but desperately needed,
the battle begins anew

Without the rising
of the blazing sun, and the setting
of the soft moon

The sky is stained with blood once more
but the night does not leave bruises.

The day washes the evidence
of the previous battle away,
brightning the skies above
only to soon be taken back by etheral night

Blinding all the stars away,the clouds dance
and white against the blue sky

Waiting for the battle to start again
between day and night
the sun and moon,
the clouds and stars
