I chased you down the hall
Down that big dark hall
Where the souls of the dead watched
Watched my foolishly chase after you

Chased after something I can never touch
I can never get that hold of you
I yelled your name
An echo shout down the hall

You didn't turn around you kept on walking
Never to turn
Never to give back the love
Finally I was now behind you

I reached out to touch
That person I used to touch when we were kids
My best friend
But my hand went right through

You puffed into smoke
And disappeared into nothing
Where have you gone
Where have the good times run off too?

Where did my best friend go
I never found you again
Now I'm just nothing to you
Your never like you were....

Now your just a memory of what used to be
The good times that couldn't last
Friendship that was untrue
You can't get over him

You can't get over that b*****d
That guy that broke your heart

Your apathetic to everything I do

You only care for yourself
