Aikyan Disorder
Welcome to my journal! Please feel free to post, and don't listen to anything FFWB might tell you.
A stroll down memory lane can spanse just a few months
I just reread all of my journal. Even though I wrote it, I still enjoyed it. The ones about games less so, though... Except the one about Trace Memory. Maybe I shouldn't write entries about games...?
Well, anyway, my short-story about Project's creation is almost a third of the way complete. I brought it to school on monday to see waht my friends thought os it, and Crimson ended up editing all I've written up to now (just before trying to get me to read one of her stories about a gay vampire and fourteen-year-old boy having sex). So, now that I finally have time, I'm trying to get it revamped and write some more so I can have the rest of my friends read it tomorrow. It's probably not going to happen, but ah well. I can always dream.

For those of you who care (which, I know, is only Grame), I beat my Dad at Dragonshard last night. This may not seem an accomplishment to thsoe of you savvy with the game, but it means that I'm improving at RTSs. Grame would be proud. It's actually a pretty interesting story for anyone who knows the game. Kinda funny too.

All that aside, sixth and seventh have become what I now refer to as the 'forceful depression' times. English then Biology. First, my english class seems set out to depress me as I've said before. However, it seems to have gotten worse somehow... (could just be me) Then, Biology. *shudder* My teacher scares me (in a creepy sense). She's become angry recently and the subject matter seems random. I find it harder and harder to focus in the class now, despite the intresting material presented (I'm actually not being sarcastic). Also, she's asking us to take notes for a grade. I hate notes.

Major topics for today: In english we are being asked to perform a commercial. As if this wasn't bad enough on it's own, I've been grouped with four incredibly... How shall I say it... conformist people? Anyway, they've agreed we're doing the commercial on shoes (after suggesting many different hair and face-care products... And nail polish... and something they called 'grills' that apparently have to do with the teeth in some bizarre way. My suggestions of artwork or laptop computers went unnoticed). So, I'm going to have to write up a commercial (and it's going to be me doing it. I know this from experince) that involves letting Courtney get up there to do some kind of sex appeal (I can't believe I'm going to have to write such icatan!).
Then, another theatre arts woe. We had to present on the Ancient Romans today. I come to school with four three-page scripts and a couple of images (it took me mroe than two hours to get all that stuff, not including all the reading I had to do for english), just to find out that my group shirked off and didn't make the poster board that they said they would. Visual material was 10% of the grade, and they hadn't done anything, so I would have been very dead if it weren't for the fact that the actual project is only 25% of the grade (the other 75% come from the work you did and waht kind of reviews you get from the other people in your group) The majority of my group then also shirked off presenting meaning that I did almost everything for the project (presenting aside). Then, my group has enough gall to complain when I pass with a 97 and they all fail (what'd you expect from forcing me to go beyond my call of duty and then some?).

Anyway, I probably ought to go if I want to get anything done before Hikaru gets on. Which reminds me, his journal entry was about science, and I now feel outdone. So, I'm going to have to one-up him (in a friendly IN YOUR FACE! kinda way sweatdrop ). So, I may or may not end up writing an entry that's based upon something highly logical. Likely something like 3-D rendering, programming, or Talon's octagonal barbeque chips. Then again, it'll more likely be something more philosophical.

Talon: I swear! Those barbeque chips would have been a huge success if I hadn't been fired!

Talon, you can't do half what you claim you can.

Talon: No really! I can recreate the black plague!

*stops reading at the grills part* rofl I can't stand kids. If you seriously don't know what grills are, they are pieces that are molded in the shape of your teeth and they are made out of gold, platinum, clear with diamonds...all of that expensive stuff and they are hideous *continues to read*

I can't stand being in groups. When I took art app. we had a group project. We had three or four questions that we had to include in our presentation. We grouped up and my partner did absolutely nothing. I answered the question and handed her the cards that she needed to know and she had the nerve to not even go over them. The three of us that actually did something spoke to our prof. and ended up passing with the a B. It was a bit better in my Public Speaking class. I had to carry the group then too, but only because the base of our project was my idea. I did have to seriously do one girls part. The sad thing was, I gave her the easiest task I could come up with.

That's probably because I'm in there with you now.
