so, the thing is that when everything goes down on Gaia, everyone and their ******** uncle always admonishes those of us who'd actually like to USE the marketplace feature by saying "I thought Gaia was a forum, oh silly me."

So tell me oh wonderously intelligent bastion of oldbies (I'm an oldbie as well folks) When does Gaia stop being just a forum, because you know I look around, and we have more intricate profiles, Journals, a marketplace which puts a stronger influence and emphasis on trade and economy here in Gaia, AND A fishing game, with more games to come. CLEARLY Gaia isn't JUST a forum anymore, and reminding people of the day when it was just a forum, doesn't make them happy that all the "playable" aspects of Gaia are all DOWN AT ONCE!

Granted I'm getting a bit tired of seeing the threads in the QnF every single time some noob discovers the marketplace isn't working. But I'm also tired of self important ASSHOLES throwing around the snide standby, oh well in my day... crap.

Hell I'M a little miffed that gaia is currently down in so many places, and you know you get what you pay for generally, and since most of the users on Gaia don't pay we get this. (I pay rather well each month a little bit for the donation letters, a little bit for the helping out).
