Ami opened her eyes to see the Hive ceiling. "Where am I?" "Still on the Hive." Hyuga said. She got up and backed away. "It's okay." he said, "Ethan and the others had just finished defeating Magashi, so they will be back shortly." She gave a nod. "I'm sorry. I don't know what happened." "Someone called you a 'Seedling'. What is that?" Ami shurgged her shoulders. She attempted to get up, but stumbled. Hyuga reached out and held her up. "Why did you come?" Ami blushed at the question. "I wanted to talk with you. I'm sorry about the formal." "Oh...it's alright, I nearly forgot about it anyway." In actuality, he never forgot. He remembered everything about the moment. "To be honest, I was scared about what was going to happen so I ran." Ami looked down at herself. "I feel a little embarrassed about this. But I liked you in the academy...a lot." He was startled at the confession. "So was that why you were always so mean to me." She gave him a playful shove. "I was not mean." Hyuga placed his free hand on his hip. "Oh really?" Ami blushed even more. "Well okay....I wasn't the most easy person to be around with. But I thought that it was just a passing thing." "Oh...." he said. "But it didn't." Ami admitted, "It flared right back up when we met up at Neudaiz."
Ami placed her hand on her forehead to quell the headache. "Anyway," she explained, "after the formal I was very confused. But now I know, I really do like you Hyuga. And maybe....we can um....hang out off-duty...with a restaurant and us." He looked at her, surprised. Then he eased into a smile. "Sure. I would love to take you out." They began to walk to the Landeel. "Don't tell anyone what you saw. If anyone found out, I might become a subject." Hyuga gave a nod. "I don't think anyone would believe me if I told them."

"Welcome to the Guardians, how may I help you?" asked Mina. Shion and Emelia stood in Headquarters lobby. "We have an appointment with the president." Emelia said. Mina nodded. "Of course. Come this way."
The two were standing in front of the president. "Miss Prescott, it's nice to see you again." Emelia gave a respectful bow. "It's always a honor to meet you sir. This is Shion Tsukanova. His daughter is in the Guardians." Shion acknowledged Dallgun. "It's nice to meet you sir. But I would like to explain why we're here." Dallgun leaned back into his chair. "Yes, go on." Shion gave him a disc. "You know that this isn't the first time in this generation that the Seed had fallen. But there was one instance in which they were secretly here." Dallgun stood up straight at the fact. "Please, tell me more..."

The group made it safely back to the Landeel and were heading back to Gurhal. They had just saw the AMF fleet attack the Hive, completely destorying it. Ami sighed a bit as the headache came and went. She decided to be by herself in one of Landeel's many rooms for the ride back. Mostly for the thoughts running through her head. 'Seedling? Dad might know something.' She ran her hand through her hair, giving another sigh. 'Just what is going on with me?' She heard the door open. "I didn't know you were going to be here." said Hyuga. Ami closed her eyes. "Just needed some time to myself." He stood beside her. They were silent for a couple minutes. "Um..." he said, trying to bring up a conversation, "Your hair looks nice?" Ami smiled. "Thanks, I know you like long hair." she said sarcastically. "No I don't. I just think it looks good on you." Ami shrugged. "Whatever makes you happy. Don't get used to it, I'm cutting it. Having long hair requires a lot of maintence if you didn't realize." The two laughed for a bit. Ami leaned a bit to his arm, causing him to blush. Ami looked out of the window again. "I used to play the piano you know." "No I didn't, you don't seem like the type." he joked. Ami punched him in the arm playfully. Hyuga eased into a smile. "Well, you play nicely." She looked at him confused. "Remember? I go there quite a few times." "Oh!" she said. Sometimes she would play in the restuarant that she worked for. And at times the manager would play the recorded pieces to build an atmosphere for the place. Ami turned around and began to walk out of the door. "Sorry for cutting this short, but I still have a lot to think about." He gave a nod, understanding.

It had been three months since the attack on the Hive. While the number of Seed invasion had dwindled, they still posed a threat.
"Get up Ami." said Megami, Ami's partner machine. "In a few." she mumbled. Ami shifted over to the wall, keeping the covers over her head. "You have a busy schedule today." Ami mumbled something again, still asleep. Her vision phone rang. Ami waved her hand. "Get that for me." she said, before dozing back to sleep. Megami went over to the machine and activated it. The screen went blue before a holographic image of Hyuga showed up. "Good morning Megami." he said. Megami, evolved into a blue 200-series, floated towards the image. "Good morning. Ami is sleeping right now." He placed his hand on his hips. "Mind getting her up? I have to ask her something." "I'm up." she muttered. Ami waved from under the sheets. "You know I can't talk to you like this." he said. Since the Hive incident, the two had gotten closer. But acted more like childhood friends than anything. "You're doing it right now." Hyuga sighed. He looked at the messy patch of blue hair poking from the top of the bed. Ami thought she heard Megami sigh for a moment. "Excuse me for a moment." Megami went to the foot of the bed and grabbed Ami's bare feet. It started to tickle her. Ami snorted while she was laughing. "Cut that out!" she managed to say. Megami was relentess on her. Ami rolled around while she was laughing. So much so, she rolled right off the bed.
"Oww....you're cruel Megami." Ami said. She had indeed cut her hair, to the middle of her back. At the moment, it looked spiky and matted. She heard laughter from Hyuga who has witnessed their antics. "Quiet you. I had to purify an Alterazgohg last night. Was not fun." "Oh that's right." he said, "You've been on Neudaiz a lot haven't you?" Ami gave a nod. She stretched, working out the kinks in her joints. "So what you wanted to talk about?" "About going out later. We'll have to reschedule, I've been called for a mission today." Ami frowned a bit. "They've been keeping you busy lately." He sighed. "I know, but it's alright. I can't tell you what it is though." Ami looked at him. "Have to sign a NDA?" Hyuga nodded. "Right, I'm on my way to Headquarters to do so. I'll talk to you afterwards okay?" Ami nodded. "I dunno. Intel started to question me about Ethan's whereabouts." In the three months since the Hive incident, Ethan had been on the run for an attempted assination on President Dallgun. "I still don't think Ethan would have done that without a good reason." Hyuga said. Ami agreed. "I know he can act a bit less than smart but he's not crazy." Then he looked at her seriously. "Have you been okay lately?" Ami shrugged. "I still get headaches, but not like at the Hive. I'll be fine. Now go and do your mission." He waved at Ami. "Alright, see you soon then." Then the vision phone faded.
After Ami got dressed, she walked through Clyez City. Along the way, she saw Emelia chatting with Maya. "Emelia! Maya!" she shouted. The women looked at Ami and smiled. Emelia had gotten transferred to work with Maya now and the two hit it off quite well. Ami ran up to them. "Hey." Emelia gave Ami a hug. "It's nice to see you." she said. Ami blushed. "Thanks." Maya went up to Ami. "Just the person I'm looking for." Emelia looked away. "Go and confirm your license and we'll talk then."

Ami arrived at an office. Emelia and Maya sat at the table in the middle. "Mina told me to meet you two here?" Maya gave a nod. "Right, it's about the Seed." It was then Ami took her seat. "The Seedlings?" she asked. Emelia snapped straight up at the mention. "What do you know about them?" she asked. Ami pointed at herself. "At the Hive, I turned into something. Hyuga said that someone mentioned 'Seedling'. It's been on my mind since." Ami grabbed fistfuls of her skirt. "I almost attacked him. If I didn't realize it sooner, I might have done something bad." Emelia nodded. "I see. And the headaches?" "They come and go as usual. But if the place is filled with Seed, they get intense." Maya stood up. "We believe Professor Tusakanova knows something about it." Ami sky blue eyes widened. "My father? I didn't know he was a professor." Emelia gave a brief nod. "I was only an intern at the time. That's how I know your father. I think it's time you knew the entire truth. This is why we called for you." Maya was a bit surprised at that part of the admission. "We think that this 'Seedling' and the Seed-virus are related." "Seed-virus?" Ami asked. "We don't know everything about it yet." Maya explained, "But it's turning people into Seed-forms. I'm working on a cure for it. Hopefully, your father will know something to help us in the right direction." Ami gave a nod. "Alright, I'll do my best."
Ami was getting nervous as they reached the place she had first went to in Parum. Emelia could see this. "It'll be fine Ami. I know you won't like what will be heard and will probably hate that it was hidden, but it was done with your safety in mind." She gave a nod. Ami couldn't shake the feeling of the moment at the Hive off her. She was scared of what happened and what could have happened if she didn't regain her senses. "I think I see it." Maya said.
As they arrived, Ami rang the doorbell. Shion was quite surprised to see the three women at the door. "What brings you all here today?" he asked, taking off his glasses. "Shion." said Emelia, "I think it's time that the Seedling Project is known." "Professor." said Maya, "There is something called the Seed-virus that is infecting many people in Gurhal. Any information about this project will help immensely." Shion looked at Ami. Then back at Maya and Emelia. "I see...Dallgun believes it's time I told her correct? That's why she was assigned to it." He showed a brief smile. "Alright, come in."

So yeah. Ami's full name is Ami Tusakanova-Satomora. As you can tell, it's hard to type that in, so she goes by her mother's maiden name. Actually her mother suggested it. As to why, it'll be revealed next chapter. Until next time :3
