I left my shoes in the grass just to touch base with you, running around in the flesh of that humid summer night, and although we were perspiring in the paleness of a self driven moon, your face revealed such an inviting glow, rising with your presence like a darling firefly mimicking the very stars above earthly measures that created our picture perfect portrait,

and every time you greeted us with a smile, you made the purple watercolors in the sky blush, and moss which resonated from the nearby trees, sprout in a bluish green homage to praise nostalgia with a brand new awakening, watching our atmosphere flee silence to uncover the wondrous uproar of Eden's reincarnation,

it was you and I alone, creating our own world where beauty was never meant to be contained, as we lifted our faces to the stars, floating away in unscathed bliss where nothing else mattered but the depth of relevance, because we lived for the pleasantries of tomorrow and the beauty of today.
