Sefari...
The shadow on the window passed by quickly and landed on the balcony not to far away. At least, I think it did. Being as curious as I am, I went over to have a look. As I walked onto the balcony and looked around,I saw nothing. I turned to go back inside and I yelled and fell backwards at the sight before me.
"What the hell?!" Seriously, what was with people and scaring me today? It's ridiculous.
There, standing in front of me was a demon. It had a devil wing on one side of its head, an angel wing on the other, one of its eyes was red, the other blue, it had devil horns and a devil tail, not to mention creepy birdlike feet with talons, very sharp talons. Before I could run past it, it grabbed me by the shirt.
Its voice was dark but it still seemed human-like, unlike that creepy Ysz. "What are you doing outside, Wolf?" It asked me that like I wasn't allowed out there.
"Um...looking at the sky?" I lied. I really wanted to see what was flying around out there, and I guess I found out.
"Lies, inside. Now. It's not safe." He pulled me inside and slammed the balcony door. It still seemed a little weird to me that this creature was even bothering with me.
"Who, and what are you?" I had to know, so I asked.
"I'm a demon, created by Master Akio as a protector of all those who live here. That includes you little wolf." Okay,that's it. This 'little wolf' thing has to stop before anyone else catches onto the nickname.
"Okay, for one, Demon my name isn't 'little wolf' so stop calling me that. It's Ismael."
The demon looked at me kind of funny. "Ismael, is it? Then Ismael, stay inside." He said.
"Now, what's your name?" The demon still looked at me funny.
"Sefari..." As if wondering something, he paused. "Why are you not afraid of me?" Did he just seriously ask me that?
"Not afraid? Of you?" It was a funny thought. Of course I was afraid. Hell, this guy scared me to death just popping up behind me. "The truth is, I've met someone scarier than you." I explained.
He didn't seem to believe me.
"Oh? Is that so?" He asked.
"As a matter of fact, yes. His name is Ysz."
"Ysz?" I don't think he believed me.
As if out of nowhere, a sudden screeching noise was heard...
