Once upon a time, there was a dragon that lorded over the skies. His scales were of the deepest red. It was said that they rivaled rubies. The dragon was as big as a ship, and his wings like crimson sails. Knight after knight tried to slay the dragon, but none could succeed, for the dragon's hide was far too tough to be pierced. There was one young lass who lived in the kingdom. She said she knew the surest way to pierce the dragon's heart. Approaching the dragon fearlessly, she sang it a song so pure and sweet, that the dragon cried two scarlet tears. The tears hardened and were later made into a pair of earrings. The dragon's heart was surely slain by the maiden's song.

So the question remains, where did those dragon tears end up?
