They decided to send me to a small South American country, as part of a secret military detachment after the headquarters were informed that a former researcher from Umbrella contacted a man named Javier Hidalgo in a small South American state. This was a difficult mission, so Jack Krauser, a seasoned operative with a history of brave service, was sent to be my partner.
Krauser and I had a mission to infiltrate the small South American country. Our objective was to find Javier; he was a drug lord and ruled the area. The small government in the area was unable to do anything about Javier’s control of the drug trade, so we were called in. (Yeah, we’re bad). The US government received some information from a former Umbrella researcher had entered the region. There was some strange things going on, but no accurate information was obtained. Krauser and I had to find out what, if anything was going on.
Krauser and I found ourselves as a two-man cell in a t0virus outbreak. We found a mysterious girl, Manuela; she turned out to be Javier’s daughter. She contracted a rare disease, and was kept alive by the Veronica Virus.
When I was with Krauser, I told him about the incident at Raccoon City that I experienced, as well as Claire’s experience with the Veronica Virus.
Krauser and I eventually fought against Javier, after he combined himself with a plant infected by the Veronica Virus. With the help of Manuela, we killed Javier.
Manuela was taken into the custody of the government. I lost my partnership with Krauser and he was discharged from the Army because of an injury that he received in his left arm. I later learned the Krauser “died” in an accident.
