forget every time he's made you cry

just lay there and sleep as it snow's
Its piling up
where you used to clean
and wait for him
from week to week

forget your anger forget your grief
forget that you loved him
It makes you weak
forget that he left, that you waited and wept
forget that you wanted to die in his stead

don't let them know, don't let them see
how your heart is broken
make them leave you be

So erase his promise from your mind
the one thing that made you not want to die
