Today someone gave me this small flower arrangement consisting of flowers I had never encountered before.
A pale blue purple-ish grayish spiny flower I learned were Mediterranean Sea Hollies, nestled with some white little blossoms and little green bulb-like things of something that had yet to bloom. Those were California Everlasting.
The funny thing about it is that the California Everlastings smelled nice and sweet like maple syrup. Everlasting means forever, eternity, immortality. So I wonder does an immortal smell like maple syrup?
Like the title said this was a weird conclusion.
