Description:
Rin is normally wearing a less traditional style of armor, it provides maximum protection yet not restricting his movement. The mask he wears has a filter in it to clean the air he breaths, two compartments on each side of the mask store all the toxins within the air he breaths, all toxins can be released if he wants to use them on an opponent. He wears three Katana on his back all inside a holster, far right katana sits up right the other two are upside-down. The holster has three red buttons, these buttons change the element the sword can use.
Personality:
Rin has a strong sense of honor, he refuses to attack an unready, unarmed, or already injured (severely) opponent. With that aside he will use his strategies on the battlefield to capitalize on any weakness he can find. He is normally a very laid back person, calm and level headed, he rarely shows any sense of urgency. Rin is seen as a loyal general, as well as a protective general, his followers see him as a man of honor and would follow him to battle and protect him with his life as he would do for them as well. He is normally training or meditating depending on the days events he is still normally very close to his office.
Rin is rarely in a predicament he can't handle, and no matter the situation at hand he shows no sign of desperation, this makes it exceedingly hard to find a weakness. He is never hot-headed, worried, or unsure what to do in battle. He can normally find a way to get out of most situations or just over come them. Despite his battle record he does not like to fight for no reason or stupid reasons, he tends to use his level headed personality to avoid confrontation if at all possible. Rin stands strong in all cases and refuses to give up in any situation. He has been trained since birth in the art of sword fighting and has mastered it in his early life and since then he has only grown stronger in the particular styles he has mastered. He has been seen on and off the battlefield calming his fellow samurai down and keeping them from making sudden decisions.

Family History:
Rin's family history is unknown, he was taken in by the previous leader of the Samurai, Mifune's great grandson, Hisagi. Their family history includes a long line of talented Samurai normally at the top of the ranks. Since Hisagi was not fertile, it was perfect for Hisagi and his wife Masami since they were unable to have a child of their own. He was raised as their son and believed it to be true for some time. Even after finding out they weren't his real parents he still loved them as if they were and even took care of his mother in her failing health.

History:
Rin was born in a small farming village, his parents were a pair of rouge shinobi who were wanted by multiple villages for their actions. Knowing that the life of their child was in jeopardy they decided to leave him at the Land of Iron's gates. Hisagi heard of the boy and that a local Samurai found him and took him out of the cold, Hisagi decided to take a trip out to the house, since the Samurai had offspring of his own to support he would be unable to keep the child for very long. Rin told him he would take care of the child, after taking him home Masami and Hisagi quickly became attached to the boy. A few years later Hisagi was already training the young boy to wield a sword in battle, after just two years Rin became very adept in sword fighting trumping most students twice his age, not with strength but rather exposing their weaknesses. Not even a year later Hisagi sent a senior student out on a mission and Rin begged to join only after a long conversation did he get his way and joined the boy on the mission.
Rin followed Mugen on the mission under strict orders to listen. After reaching Kumogakure they informed the Kage of an approaching threat from just beyond the border of the Land of Iron. He asked for specifics but they had no further information, so the Kage thanked them and sent an escort with them to watch over their return. While traveling they ran into the group of Rouge Shinobi said to be the group threatening Kumogakure, the Jounin from Kumo attacked the group of three. As they retaliated the Joinin was stuck in a tough predicament, the two Samurai decided to help. Rin had easily kept one of them at bay, the Uchiha. Soon the fight became deadly, Mugen was killed, before to long the Kumo Shinobi had killed his opponent as well, and took on the man who killed Mugen. Rin fought the Uchiha, tho the man was more skilled than Rin he found a weakness in his style for the man was slow at reacting to multiple attacks at different speeds and directions. Soon Rin had caught the Uchiha, Rin was placed in a dangerous situation and was forced to kill the Shinobi. The Kumo Jounin had killed the second man he fought already and took the eyes of the Uchiha, on their journey he implanted one of the eyes into Rin's right eye.
Rin returned to the Land of Iron with the body of Mugen, after the explination and the burning of the body due to that being their method of disposal getting rid of all DNA and sending the souls of the dead to the afterlife. Rin had then devoted his life to protecting his fellow Samurai. He trained vigorously, and upon coming home he had to take care of his mom in his dad's absence. He soon became a threat on the battlefield, he mastered multiple techniques to the point he was even said to have surpassed Hisagi. Not even a full year after becoming a master of multiple styles his father retired and Rin took over as the General, he has since became famous among the Samurai and is even known throughout the Hidden Villages.
Rin is now 42, Hisagi is 78 and Masami is 74. He was taking care of them for sometime until he was no longer able to juggle so many things, and has since found a care taker for them. He still visits them and cares about them but has no time to take care of all their needs. Now Rin has since been seen as a threat to even the strongest Shinobi, he has been in many battles and has won many and lost few. He does not enjoy fighting so he prefers to settle things in a more civil manner, but if not possible he has no problem fighting any opponent. After only being in charge of the Samurai for 15 years they seem to follow him no matter what and see him as a friend as well as a leader. For that fact he has little to no problems with any Samurai, he has since devoted his life to finding a peaceful way to resolve conflicts although little success has been shown he has not shown any signs of giving up on the goal.
