Vanishing dreams My dream was to find life... to find a new home.... change my ways from where I was back then... being from old to new... you know flipping over to a new leaf. That's who I wanted to be! It may have taken me a while to reach where my destination is... But it was worth a shot, don't you think? The idea of becoming an American...a true American... I wanted to be treated equal, to be loved for my culture and religion. To buy cheap land for me and my family there... Sadly, that never happened... My dream was shattered... I wasn't loved for my culture or my religion... Never treated equal at all among the native ones here. I live not only in a shattered dream but also a shattered home... the question is do I belong here? Was it right to move here? What is America now? -Snow that flutters down like feathers
