List 10 things you would want to tell your sixteen year old self if you could.
1. Don't give up. I know it's easy to do, but you can do it. All you have to do is work for it.
2. Don't let people drag you down. There are others out there that will want a lot more for you than these ones.
3. Remember to smile. Life gets hard and sometimes all you want to do is cry, but don't let them see you down.
4. Be responsible with things. Help out mom, keep the house clean and don't fight with her. She does so much for you, so say thank you sometimes and appriciate it.
5. Be friendly and polite always. You don't know what other people are going through. And if someone is mean, remember that maybe they're just having a bad day.
6. Be yourself. If others don't like it, then that's their problem. You're alright just the way you are. You don't have to change for them.
7. You don't have to have the best clothes or the fanciest car. There are people out there that will like you for the way you crinkle your nose and for your goofy laugh. Don't try and impress people. Just be who you are and let yourself be free.
8. Interact with people. Don't run to your room for cover. It gets old after a while. Make friends, go out, have fun, and have a life.
9. Stop being clingy. It's never fun and people get annoyed of it. Just let things be and see where the cards fall. It'll be okay whether you see someone two days in a row or once ever week. You'll still see them, so chill out.
10. Don't work in fast food. It sucks so bad. So, so bad.
