Chapter 6: Gay and so happy

"OHHHHH!" Groaned Gash opening his eyes, he had a slight headach, he reached for a cupboard nearby and took out some aspirin. He got up and walked outside and into the kitchen and poured himself a glass of water, he downed two pills along with the water in one go. Looking around he saw half the clubhouse spread out over the sofas and floor. Ilph seemed to have fallen on top of Shmoogy, their faces were touching, they were on the sofa closest to the kitchen, Jack seemed to have dissapered which made Gash blink and look around untill he noticed Tugger sleeping on one of the other couches snuggling up to a cushion and next to him Ryou who had fallen off the couch and was sleeping on his neck. "RYOU!" called Gash, who ran over picking Ryou up and laying him onto the couch making him more comfitable, or look it he most certinally didn't feel it. Ryou turned over and groaned and looked as though he was about to throw up. Gash ran to the kitchen grabbed a bucket and stuck it onto Ryou's lap and lifted his head up. "I knew it would be like this" thought Gash, though as he thought back to last night he smiled.

"Ergh...whats wrong?" said Shmoogy waking up and looking over at Gash. "Nothing" replied Gash "Ryou's just a little sick. I don't think he'll be drinking for awhile." "Will you two shuddup?" said Ilph stirring. "Morning Ilph" said Shmoogy yawning and groaning. After a few seconds both they're eyes widened and looked at each other "AH!!!" they both screamed and quickly got away from each other. "YOUR NEKEH!!!" Shouted Shmoogy staring at Ilph who was laughing. "Don't worry we didn't do anything." said Ilph "I would know." he said winking but he stopped quickly because it made his head hurt, he grabbed a cushion and put it on his head. Shmoogy panted a little and Gash laughed. "Though if you wanna"said Ilph "NO"

"Would you guys shut...UP!" grouched Tugger who turned over and covered his ears. "Sorry Tugger" whispered Shmoogy. "Wheres Jack?" asked Gash who wondered no longer as an arm wrapped around him and felt his chest smoothly. "Hey you" they both said at once, both winking. Gash went to kiss Jack before Jack stopped "You sure you want my stinking alchaholic smelling rag over your face?" he asked but was entranced by the upcoming kiss "You smell just the way I like" said Gash romantically.

Eventually as time passed on everyone was in the living room except Fel, he finally came in and Shmoogy opened his mouth and said "Wheres.." Fel cut across him "Gone, its over, all you need to know." Shmoogy tried to protest and kept rambling on, it wasn't long before Jack shut him up though. Loads of people comforted Fel, they knew he'd be fine.

Around two in the afternoon people were feeling better, Ryu was grinning watching everyone during their hangovers while he played with Nathan and Jared. Gash was very quiet. "You okay?" asked Jack "Don't worry Fel will be fine." "Its not that." said Gash firmly. He gave Jack a letter he recieved that morning. It read:



"Most likly my dad wrote this." said Gash biting his lip. "Its not that I hate them but if I go they'll try and make me stay, but I have to go." Jack read the eleven worded letter again "He didn't write much, could have at least bothered to.." Gash sighed "He doesn't want any of 'you fags'" he said with hand gestures of irony "to see anything..suppose I better get packed."

"Your not thinking of going"

"I have to, my fathers persistent"

"As long as he doesn't hurt you." Gash kissed Jack as he said this, he even took off his rag and looked into his blue eyes, wrapping his arm around Jack's neck, brushing up against his hair.

"I'll be fine." Soon everyone was seeing Gash out, Fel holding Jared's hand, and Ryou Nathan's as everyone walked towards the Port of Gambino where Gash would be taking a ship to England. "Have fun." said Fel "Don't eat to much on the ship that stuff will make you fat." Both Nathan and Jared hugged Gash, Ryu, Shmoogy, Ilph and Ryou said farewell and that they'll see him soon. Jack (with his rag back on) stepped up and kissed him, it was another long one, a few people on the ship looked at them which Fel gave them a piercing glare, after that they went on about their own buisness. Gash hoped to be back soon, as he got on the ship he headed straight for the back, nearest the window. As the ship left he waved at Jack who waved back, the others nodded except for Jared and Nathan who waved and blew kisses. Gash smiled and layed back, soon enough the ship was out of sight. "He'll be back.." said Jack.

Over that night Jack laid awake watching the television in the living room, it was on mute though. He was deep in thought, he knew it was only a silly trip but he had a bad feeling. "Jak?"

"Huhwha?" uttered Jack who looked left of him to see Nathan down beside him. "Oh its you. What do you want?" Nathan smiled and said "Awww I bet yew miss Gash alwedy." Jack grunted "He'll be bak, he luvs yew wots and wots." Nathan said happally, his eyes glinting up at Jack. "Your an odd thing you are." said Jack "Sticking your nose around this late at night. I know he loves me, hes not like me" "Wut do yew meen?" asked Nathan.

"I mean he loves me, and I love him, but he 'loves'. Me on the other hand love but I'm a basterd."

"Wuts a basturd?"

"Ask your daddy that in the morning."

"Well wutever it is, it tant be bad betus yur a weely luving person, yew juss fink yur a bad purson wen yur not." Jack grunted, Nathan climbed up on the couch with Jack and wrapped his arms around his neck and kissed him, Jack fidgeted uncomfitably. "Why do you need to hug me?" he asked. "Betus I luv yew."

"Uh huh."

"But I do."

"But I smell, and I'm scary go away."

"Gash wikes yur smell"

"Don't make me throw you out the window."

"But yew wudn't do dat yew luv me too" Jack opened his mouth but didn't say anything, Jack had a hard shell but Nathan seemed to be able to get through it, untill: "Off to bed" Jack picked Nathan up and took him to his room settling him in his crib, he walked out and went to shut the door. "Luv yew wots Jack."

"Love you too" replied Jack without relising he said it. "Yew sed yew luvved me" said Nathan happally. Jack stared at Nathan "Your luckly no ones around, get to sleep."

Jack went back to the living room and turned the television off, he smiled slightly knowing he had good friends and that Gash would be just fine, he thought of Nathan as a pest though was glad he was around, he stopped thinking about him knowing he was in his room and focused himself on Gash, his bedroom seemed quite empty now, he layed down on his bed and went to sleep.

"Who wants bacon and eggs?" Ryou called that morning with a frying pan in his hand. "MEEE" said Fel happally. "I'll have an omlete." said Ilph who had a paper in his hand, he was looking at the winner of the avatar contest for the week, the name for seventh place in bold said "Sanrei" which Ilph told outloud Nathan and Jared were in their high chairs drinking their bottles of milk. Ryu and Tugger were talking outside, Shmoogy who was passing opened his mouth then seemed to relise what was going on, instead he kept on walking and waltzed his way into the kitchen. "They're breaking up" said Shmoogy. Fel helped Ryou with the cooking and didn't join in with the conversation "Why?" some asked "How should I know? I overheard it, I wasn't in the conversation." Ilph slapped him over the head with his newspaper. "Shaddup and listen then." Soon Ryu came into the room with Tugger, they both seemed okay though Ryu was silent, Tugger nodded when they looked at him.

It was the strangest couple of days the clubhouse had ever seen, Tugger and Ryu seemed more happy, Fel was happy at times, everyone was there for each other, Jack even thought that, though he spent time looking out the window, it had been a week and no word from Gash. "He proberbly died or something" said Jack, Fel looked at him, Jack said he would cry really, "D'aw, Jack needs a hug" and Fel hugged him, along with Jared and Nathan who toddled on into the room with great timing "Bah! Ge'off me" growled Jack who fidgeted helplessly in Fel's arms.

It wasn't long till Jack got slightly upset and very worried that he wouldn't talk and hardly ate, Gash had not contacted them in anyway, everyone was starting to feel better except for when they thought about Gash or Jack. They all felt sorry for Jack, and he felt so upset.

Jack walked past the front door one morning and noticed a letter slip through the doors letter box, on the front of the letter it said "PM from Gash to Jack" Jack instantly snatched up the letter and tore it open, inside it was blank, nothing written on the paper, no writing not even a picture, not even a splodge of ink or even drool from a persons mouth. Jack stared, a few tears shined in his eyes, he sat down in a near by chair and looked at the paper "Why is he..?" Jack began when the door swang open, a boy Jacks age stood there, his glare of deep passion shining over Jacks face, as he took off his rag. Gash stood at the front door, after a few seconds Jack was pulled into a tight embrace.

"Where...?" "Don't worry." said Gash "My father couldn't keep me away. So whats new?"

Jack told him of sevral things that had been happening throughout everyones lifes, though he said everyone was slowly recovering "Well.." said Gash "Lets wake up everyone and have fun, I'm sure Ilph has got more drinks"

Soon everyone had greeted Gash, they didn't drink as much but everyone was happy, though a few still upset, tomorrow would be another day....
