Here we will see some of Sari's attempts at poetry, why not tell her what you think after you've read them? ((new! my thoughts in parenthecies. is that what they are called? I'm not sure anymore. Whooo.. rolleyes ))


((Okay I wrote this one quite reasontly after seeing something in a friends profile(probably lyrics to a song) pretty much saying they don't deserve their friendships and to just be rid of em. so yeah I wrote this as almost a secret response.))

I'll be your Friend Forever.

You can push, shove,
or run away,
But still I won't,
forget the day.

I met you
and we became friends
I'll love you till
the very end.

Silence may stretch forever
but for me it doesn't matter.
you may move on
and leave me behind
but you'll never escape
the thoughts of my mind.

I met you and we became friends

((Okay after finishing this book series were the main character was a writer and poet, I thought I'd give poetry tales a try. That's probably not the right term for it but whatever.))

A Short Unfinished Tale
Silence goes on longer still
not a cricket chirps
nor a frog croaks,
only pen on paper
can be hear in the old mill.
A young lady writes
of love and passion
of need for a companion.

All alone and afraid
the cold outside radged
it can't get to the girl
through any crack or hole.
A knock in the silence
frightens her there,
she surpressses a scream
and walks to the door.

Awaits her is a man
his clothing ragged in torn
he has looks of a modle
all tired and worn.
This is too good to be true,
she thinks to herself
just before she wakes up.

There's a knocking again,
could her dream be real?
She runs to the door
ready to squeel.
She opens it to find
not a man but woman insted.
And once again is filled with dread.....

((I'm not sure what inspired me to write this. God perhaps? This is just something I wrote one day, it came out and it's pretty powerful. Of course I could could word things better it would probably be even more impacting, but...yeah.))

The Truth of it all, Since the Fall
With the Lord comes joy,
without Him comes pain.
If you've expirenced the second
you never want to go back again.

Wether through trials
or just plain ignorance,
we all expiernce a time
when we fallter,fall
and need His shleter from it all.

Some of us seek it,
and accept it as truth
others detest it
wanting to handle everything
on their own.

Though there is a is a truth
none can escape,
while some walk into a Hevenly home,
others suffer a firey doom.
