The magical creatures talked for a while, trying to see if anyone knew where the next weapon would be. After a short while, a vampire stepped foreward, a giant blocking the sun from it.
"We have figured out where the Sword of the Ground lies." The vampire said, his voice mocking and hissing, though he wasn't trying to mock Seria.
"Okay, then. Where is it?"
"It rests in the mountains to the west of here. Not too far of a trip."
"Good. What about Destructor's staus?"
"Still sleeping, though he is going to wake in a few days."
"Then we shall move quickly. Let's go. We can make it on foot by sundown, I'm sure."
The sorceressess and sorcerers began walking, though were somewhat startled when they saw the magical beings walking behind them.
"What are you-"
"This is our world too, and since the trek is not too long, we shouldn't hinder you. We just wish to help protect you against anything that may attack."
".... Very well." Seria said after a long while, then turned back around and they continued walking.
They reached the foot of the mountains about an hour before sundown. They turned to face Eia, and asked her to try and find the Sword she had once held. After a while of magic and climbing, they reached a cave, where Eia said the sword was. They searched it, the various creatures keeping watch over the entrance, weapons drawn and ready to attack anyhting. They even killed a squirrel who had been hidden, though they didn't know it was a squirrel when they sliced at the rock, splitting it and the animal in two.
Though it seemed that, like the other two, they would not be left alone. A large amount of small black creatures cam pouring out of other caves, headed straight for the cave where the sorceressess and sorcerers were. They magical beings gripped their weapons and slaughtered them all.
But from where the swords cut into their bodies, more creatures came out. These ones were like snakes. They wriggled around the beings and slithered their way into the cave. Many were still killed, mind you, but about a hundred out of the thousands that emerged, were able to get in the cave.
Their first warning was the scream of pain and suffering from one of the sorcerers as a snake-thing sun it's teeth into him. Slolwy he crumpled to the ground, his body turning to dust and his blood spilling out, dribbling down the stone. The snake-creatures eagerly licked up the blood, then advanced on the other sorceressess and sorcerers. They cast spells at them, and feria and Hure smashed and sliced at them. There were only ten left when they ran out of stamina and magic power.
One of them lept at one's face, killing her, another crept up behind another, only to accidentaly bite one of it's own kind, killing them both.
It took a while, but there was only one left now. It circled around them, waiting.... ready to strike... waiting....
Then it saw a chance. It lept for Eia's neck, though she dodged it. The fangs of the cobra-like being nicked her cheek, and it fell to the ground, dead from the impact of the ground. Eia sighed with relief, but then stifened up. She crmpled over, her eyes wide and satring at something no one could see. Saliva slowly dribbled out her mouth, mixing with fresh blood. Her hand gripped the cold stone under her as she gasped or air.
