This past friday I just went to my first concert! Yay! *does the happy dance* Well, I went to a concert when I was five but it was free, & it was a country singer. stressed & ALL of my friends know how much I HATE country! evil scream anywho... stare
the band I went to was Tool. Now although I had no idea who they were except they are thrash metal or something like that (which isn't my type of music... stare ) but my friend got free tickets & asked me if I wanted to go. Of course I said yes! So I spent the night at my friend's house then we went to Rexall.
I saw a BIG, sexy picture of Jon Bon Jovi & made sweet passionate love to it! heart blaugh & then my friends dragged me away... stare
The concert itself was pretty good. The sound was kinda crappy & since I never heard any of Tool's work before, I had no idea what the guy was saying... sweatdrop The music itself got repetitive by the fourth song so I was annoyed. It ever-so-kindly-pointed out why I don't listen to that type of music!
The lights were kewl though. Instead of having the screens behind the stage, they had little ones on it & basically the stage itself was the screen. There was a kickass laser show too! I can't even describe it! It was...shiny! The lead singer had this really kewl scorpion tattoo on his back. The tail went up his spinalcord & when he danced, the scorpion looked like it was moving as well! well I thought it was kewl.
When I phoned my mom after, according to her I was screaming into the phone! smile I guess it happens after a loud concert! So there we go! My first concert experience! Go me! dramallama
